Boy could Ohio State use a legit QB.

Heard 92.3 talking about him yesterday. They said "he is going to own every major QB record in the Big 10 and when people talk about him 10 years later it will be 'right Barrett, he was ok'. I am not an OSU fan, I won't even wear scarlet (or red if you prefer) - but I have watched him regress as he gets more experience. That in itself is a bit of head scratcher. He was more effective 3 years ago and has become less so with each year. However - I would take him over Wilton Spaight every single day.

If Urban needs a QB.....Mount has a few good ones.  ;D Maybe Luke Poorman or Dom Davis in return for BJ Mitchell (sorry OSU calls him Dobbins).

I think it would also help if he had a legit WR in 2016 or 2017 who can get open against Cover 0 and Cover 1 schemes  You can't run crossing routes or NCAA routes every pass play and thats the only way they are getting open.  JT isn't the only reason their offense has regressed since Tom Hermann left Columbus.  He's one of three reasons:  Hermann leaving/replacement?, WR play and his own confidence.

That's incredible, but also smart to get Davis some game snaps where he is actually running the offense.  Last year proved that they all need to be ready to play.  They need to keep him sharp.  Also, that's probably a little unfair to the JCU JV guys.  The kid did throw for over 2000 yards and win playoff games last year!

AFTER ALL....Davis is the third team QB...wow, are the Raiders lucky.  I am surprised one of the three did not leave.

That is quite surprising. Unless one of them is there for a specific major at UMU.

Hey Everyone.. So I am going to the Army Ohio St. game on Saturday (Go Army!), and this will be my first time at the Horseshoe. Does anyone have any advice on places to check out?

Before you criticize me for cheering against OSU, I am a legit Army fan, and Ohio Stadium is on my Bucket List of College football venues to check out..

Thanks Guys!

If I'm taking someone who has never been before I give them the option of going to skull session.  It's a marching band pep rally with the team held in St. John Arena 2-3 hours before the game.  If you've seen it once you've seen it a hundred times, but it can be pretty cool for first timers.  It's free.

Second week results of the OAC Pick-Ems have been [belatedly] posted.

Conventional Wisdon and human wisdom in the guise of smedindy took the top spot with eleven of the potential 12 points.  After two weeks, desertcat1 and mr_mom remain in the top spot.

I will try to get spreads out tonight, but obviously I'm running a bit behind.

I'm hoping the baker's dozen UMU players from Florida have safe families and ones that can recover quickly.

Or, they are willing to sacrifice playing time for a chance at a national championship?

I would not be surprised if there was a position change for one the  QB's sometime this season. Agree, none of them will consider making a move off the Raiders who have IMHO a good chance to win it all this year! :)
