Maybe I missed it. If so I apologize, but where did Kuhn the QB from Louisville end up. I heard he took an offer from Walsh because he could play QB there, but I have not been able to verfiy it. Thanks

The last I heard on Drew Kuhn was that he was weighing walking on at OSU versus attending MUC.  But that info is a couple weeks old.  I had heard that MUC figured he'd be better suited at safety than at either QB or WR.

If any one can add any info on this I'd be curious to hear as Kuhn is a great local kid that I would love to see play at MUC.

E Lee's semi-regular update on fights he breaks up at schools:

Just broke up a fight between a 240 lb girl and a 120 lb boy.  It ended with the girl punching me in the chest and throwing a desk at me.  Another day in Chester.

I wish she could play football for us.

Walsh's website has a 3-29 release of their list of recruits, supplemented by 7 more names on 4-19. He's not on either list. On the original 3-29 list is an All-Ohio LB from Louisville who might be trying to influence the decision?

Good answer e_lee.  Kudos for that.

She reminds me alot of former Wilmington DT Brandon Tisdale or even former MUC great BJ Payne.

Not that I am partial but what exactly can you win at Walsh? I mean if you are a "player" and you are not D1 then a national championship with the Raiders would sure feel good. I don't recall the same kind of accomplishments in Walsh lore. A walk on with the Buckeyes OK but Walsh? Maybe that linebacker should re-think his commitment and join the good guys.

Keep in mind that Walsh can give scholarships since they're NAIA.    Winning football games is nice, but as a parent I'd have a real problem if my kid wanted me to spend $30,000 per year for an elementary education degree when he could get the same degree for either free or at much reduced rate just to win a few more football games.

This is may be factor with the LB, but not with Kuhn.  I have a hard time believing that Kuhn would take a free ride at Walsh over a free ride at Mount when the academics at Mount are better and the football isn't even close.  Now walking on at OSU and getting into the network of alumni would be a different story.

And what may be taking time is his understanding of the final financial aid package MUC is/has/will offer?

Kuhn's mom is a Mount employee so he has a free ride.

If he can go  free to MUC vs. a "scholarship" to Walsh then it seems like a no brainer to me.  If I were his parent there wouldn't be much discussion I don't think.

Yep Walsh it is!

Why so excited about Walsh? Have you changed your loyaties?

Is this Kuhn kid any good?

It's too bad his mom works in Alliance.

If not maybe he could have received some financial "AIDA" somewhere else!
