Mount's kickoff return unit has been bad, the kickoff coverage unit has been awful. Also, I love that the JCU guys think it's the QB returning kicks. I guess Scott did pre-QB days?

This is an incredibly poor effort today. JCU is not great and it's 24-24. The good news is they're playing in a tight game. The bad news is it's against a team they should beat 42-14.

First time watching Mount this year. Totally underwhelmed, as I just am not seeing excellence. Dropped passes, weak o-line play, defense can't make a big play if/when needed. Defensive backs....yikes! Special teams....YIKES! As they are playing today, this is not a national championship team.

JCU made a lot of Raider fans very nervous for the upcoming playoffs. A seed of doubt that maybe this team is not as powerful and dominating as many thought. Defense stepped up when it had to, but offense showed some distinct issues that had not been evident against lesser opponents. Hats off to the Blue Streaks for a fine effort and a game that will wake up both fans and players for the upcoming tourney.

The special teams give JCU at 14 points. The Raiders were fortunate to pull it out and yes it should not have been close.

great job by JC. it made mount look like merely a good team instead of a great team. the good news is the next 3 teams mount plays won't be as good as JC. the bad news is this game can't give mount fans much confidence about winning at oshkosh.

but perhaps this is another year when there are no great teams. MHB struggled with east texas baptist today, and the johnnies barely won.
