What's with Mt fans referencing the great Mt Defenses of 2012 and 2015? Can you only have a great D if you win the Stagg? Come on, you only had to beat the Tommies for cry eye.

Mt's D in 2011 was a nightmare.

If I'm not mistaken, Mount beat the mighty Whitewater also in 2015.

A shell of its former self.
Which only lends more credence to my question, what's with 2012 and 2015?

I referenced '12 and '15 due to the fact that Mount wiped the floor with St T.  Those teams might not have been the best Mount teams of all time, but they sure did pound St T.  I mean they really just beat up on poor old St T both of those year.

Felony warrants, Dude. Felony warrants...

Beatdown, dude. Multiple beatdowns

Not sure why you're air quoting the word facts.  Court records are facts, no air quotes necessary.
Those are not air quotes those are in fact real quotes.  No court records are the positions taken by the prosecutors.  Prosecutors have been known to stretch the truth and they have also been known to be wrong.  The old saying is that every story has three sides yours mine and the facts.

I am speculating but I think Fulford has told the coaches and administration his side of the story and with that they feel comfortable enough with his side of the story that they have not given out any further punishment.

It is not prosecutors taking positions to say "a warrant has been issued for felony assault." That is a fact. Now whether the charge holds up in court is different, but the fact that the warrant was issued and is outstanding, and he missed a court date related to it, are facts. The fact that he was driving on a suspended license is a fact. There is no prosecutor stretching here. The court blotter said he missed a court date for his suspended license violation, and that is a fact. Now whether the paperwork was correct is different and appears to be something his lawyer is claiming. That is all well and good and seems decided by the court process. Well done to the young man for taking care of it.

But please stop trying to tap dance around things that are clearly facts. It is just sad and clearly something a significant portion of our country increasingly feels the need to do. Confusing facts with with things they wish were true or simply trying to deny the existence of facts they don't agree with is unbecoming of an intelligent person.

Well I believe we've at least come to one conclusion, D3 needs to split. In the Christmas spirit we can have a league of misfit boys and a league for the pure as driven snow.  ;D

I know I would be on the island of misfits. Right there with the squirt gun that shoots grape jelly and the elf that wants to be a dentist!  Actually, I prefer to be on that island.

I referenced 12 And 15 because they were the best Mount Ds I've seen since I started following Mount in 2009. Yes, they also happen to be the only championship teams as well.

Nightmare? The 2011 D held UWW to 13 points in the stagg...

Maybe you're thinking of 2013 which gave up like 145 points in 3 games.

Wait, did you mean nightmare as in terrifying to opposing offenses? That would make more sense

Indeed, a nightmare to UWW. I figure every Mt D that had Driskill was a nightmare to play against.

Ahh yes, makes more sense. The 2012 D had Driskil and Diuesel as seniors, so you can see why I reference it as a benchmark for great Mount Ds

That team actually had more players invited to NFL training camps then Kent state. I remember making fun of my cousin about this because he's a KSU football alum.

Let's go Bobcats!

Pep is pleased as Punch that Frostburg State, an East Region at-large entry in the NCAA playoffs, is positioned to paddle the prevailing predominate pedantic pigskin power posthaste.

This Saxon is "in alliance" with the Bobcats.
