Still trying to sell this damn house.  It's been a nightmare.  And to clarify, I wasn't saying "enjoy the alcohol and leave (get out of here)".  I was saying "enjoy the alcohol and leave (time off)".  I realize it read a little rudely.

I've been spreading the love for two full seasons now.  There have been two or three times where I've actually agreed with you publicly.  That makes 2/3 out of 1000 but that's still 2 or 3 more times than ever before.  And do we really want to talk about "going soft"?  Rumor has it all those trips over the years to Ric's hot tub have plumped a certain someone up like a Ballpark Frank.  That's what  I've heard anyways.

I'll say it's a combination of the second and third choice and conservatively leave it at that.

Ah, the REAL RC still does exist.  Glad to have you back.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

For the record, Ric's old lady likes them fat and bald!

I see on Marietta's website that Ciccone is a grad assistant for the Pioneers this year.

With the log jam at running back for the Raiders, any chance of him bringing Robinson, Morring, Wray, Bruney or Workman down to the river?

I noticed you mentioned Workman on the RB list. I saw him last year in the preseason  but had not hear anything since. He looked like a good RB. How does he fit the depth chart at this point?
I thought he may have been injured last year.
Just curious.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Does anyone really think ONU and Capital can stop the Raiders from scoring?Capital simply doesn't have the horses to stop the offense,at all.ONU has a few guys but nothing even close to what it will take the halt this offense.I don't expect either of these games to be close.

It seems LK and Pat are both showing a great deal more respect for Capital than most of us.

The most interesting thing about the poll to me is that BW got two votes so by default I guess they are picked as the fourth best team in the OAC for the preseason poll.  It's not a knock on the Jackets as much as I am surprised that one of the other programs that had a fairly good year didn't get a vote or two ie. Otterbein, JCU, etc.

I don't think you know what my ballot looks like.

My bad, how about "It seems that the D3Football Preseason Top 25 and LK hold Capital in higher regard than many of us".

I don't know I haven't been around here often the last few months but from what I've read maybe you should say, "I don't hold Capital in as high a regard as A LOT of other people."

I know my ballot has the top six teams exactly as the poll has them.  I had Ohio Northern seventh.

Well I certainly don't like the sounds of that.  I think Capital has the same kind of replacement issues as we have.  I hope Trusnik picks up where he left off before the injury and last but not least, I have heard a lot of good things about the incoming freshmen.

Maybe we can have some fun with this.  I'd be curious to read everyone's pre-season OAC rankings along with reasoning.   Mine go as follows:

1.  Mount: For obvious reasons.  It could be downright scary this year.
2.  Capital: Tough for me to put them over my Bears but I'll put them second because of their playoff run.
3.  ONU: The O-Line is their biggest hurdle but there is a lot of talent behind a great coach.
4.  Otterbein: I am curious if Steltzer is the next D'Orazio.
5.  JCU: Replacing Oing and Phillips may be tough.
6.  Marietta: Would be higher if the coach wasn't new.  Vrable might be a big player this year.
7.  B-W: I honestly think 4-7 are a bit of a tossup.  It's not a shot at B-W I just don't know what they have coming back and Hedges has gotten pounded in a one dimensional offense.
8.  Wilmington: I hear they have a stud freshman running back that can squat something like 445 pounds.
9.  Heidelberg: They started a lot of young kids and have a lot coming back.  I hope they can win a few for Coach Cochran.
10.  Muskingum: I just don't see them doing anything this year.  The leading rusher returns after just 481 yards last year and their qb threw for half that number.  Where's the offense?

I'm interested to read everyone's thoughts.  It's slow right now anyways right?

You do know that's seventh in the nation, right? I would think the ONU world would be happy with that ranking to start the year?
