I thought we'd stub our toe along the way but that didn't happen.  Some people have put up points on BW who I just did not think could put up substantial points on anyone.  As a result, I  agree - I think our defense will hold em and the offense will function at a high enough level to get the win.  Then . . . get ready for a tour of upstate NY as a road warrior throughout the playoffs.

I assume all of the esports scholarships will go to very fast and skilled football players. Mount is going to "go Dayton" on us and skirt the rules.

Hey, I can call them friends. I'm Catholic. 2 of my 3 grad schools were Catholic, one of them Jesuit. So there. Wishing you the best on Saturday. You certainly have a great team and a solid program. You belong in the playoffs. Plus, what's to like about that team from Berea? Speaking of which, I went to Berea once. It was closed. OK, OK, that's old, but still effective.
I really enjoyed all the banter on the board the last few days. Now let's go swat a yellow jacket.
Safe trip to you Chicago guys and anyone else coming from outside University Heights.
Oh, by the way. I thought BW grads put their diplomas on the dashboard, not Mount grads. (See JCUStreaks70 for clarification

Difficult openers are a great way to focus the team in the off season.  It's also a great way to eliminate your margin of error for the season in week 1.  Will be curious to see how it plays out.

The new AD is showing she ain't afraid of NOBODY!  If I recall she mentioned a more "regional/national" direction for JCU, so this sure does seem to highlight that agenda.  I think it's a very positive move, and should help JCU get that focus right off the jump at the beginning of the season.  Well done!
