The local ESPN radio outlet posted some interviews from media day at http://www.listencentraltexassports.com/espn-central-texas-stagg-bowl-coverage/

Also the local paper did a story about Nick Brish and that can be found at http://www.tdtnews.com/sports/article_4ec987a6-fe80-11e8-9941-0fd747374acc.html

Fuhlfords poor performance had nothing to do with his ankle.  His decision making and awareness is just poor

Wrong.

Absolutely correct Craft.  He's doing all he can to play, contribute & help this team win another National Championship.  Anyone that rags on him, says he is not worthy has no clue.

dlip calls BS here...especially with the "no clue," comment. To him, having watched the game and he witnessed very little if no limp from Fulford. Kid is an awesome player and dlip would guess the truth sits in the middle. To deny his decision making was quite poor is really untrue. The kid made some very bad decisions and certainly seemed down on himself and frustrated (certainly some of that could be frustration from not being 100%). You don't need to be a psychologist to see that, especially after throwing multiple pics and walking with his head down and looking dejected...he looked dejected because he was. Kid had a poor game for multiple reasons. Quit being so over****ing sensitive. He should take some slack. He's the quarterback for one of the most amazing ****ing football teams in the land. He's a great QB and player and dlip feels he'll bounce back at the Stagg in a big way. Best of luck to him and the Raiders.
A long time fan of DIII Football!

The spaceship from the north regions passed by the twisted equneonx and satire by the west sea of the unknown... the fitting fart passed thew an opener that wasn't very flexible and didn't smell.

Hey, are you going to leave a mess all over the message board, or is it safe for me to go to sleep?

Pat, this was one funny post.

Blue, I don't quite know why, but I do enjoy your randomness.

Here's my Annual Breakdown of Returners and Graduating Seniors.

Based on the Two-Deep from the Stagg Bowl, here are the returners for UMU in 2019.  (I don't know if any of the Seniors have a Medical Hardship Year to come back).

1st Team Offense:
QB  12  D'Angelo Fulford (JR)
RB    2  Josh Petruccelli (So)
WR   1  Justin Hill (Jr)
LT  72  Sean Sherman (Jr)
LG  79  Jonathan Bisono (Jr)
C  59  Joey Presutti (So)
RG  70  Jonny Todd (Jr)
RT  68  Brendan King (Jr)
K  84  Cory Barnett (Jr)

Losing:  Herington-WR, Ruth-WR, Moxie-TE

2nd Team Offense:
QB  5  Jake Keeney (So)
RB  28  Matt Garcia (So)
WR 88  Edwin Reed (Fr)
WR  8  Derrick Harvey (Jr)
TE  86  Evan Weygandt (Fr)
LT  56  Stephen Sumner (Jr)
LG  76  Ryan Westrick (So)
C  54  Jake Penko (So)
RG  65  Chad Kiernan (Fr)
K  83  Max Righetti (Jr)

Losing:  Koscielski-RT, Haynes-WR

1st Team Defense:
DE  90  Andrew Roesch (Jr)
N  55  Adam Pastor (Jr)
DT  97  Ethan McComb (Jr)
WLB  43  Tre Williams (Jr)
Spur  5  Mitch O'Hara (So)
CB  27  Gabe Brown (Jr)

Losing:  Brish-Bandit, Robinson-MLB, White-SS, Cox-WS, Berry-CB, Snyder-P

2nd Team Defense:
N  94  Ian Meacham (Jr)
DT  93  Nate Brunson (So)
Bandit  19  Skyler Scott (Jr)
WLB  49  Carson Kovath (Fr)
MLB  46  Caleb Smith (Fr)
Spur  26  Nate Fisette (Jr)
SS 14  Malik Britt (So)
WS  10  Tanner Murray (So)
CB  12  Derrick Bradley (Fr)
CB  11  Jalen Griffen (So)

Losing:  Blanc-DE

Obviously losing the WR Depth on Offense. Fulford, Petruccelli and Hill coming back at Skill.  Only losing a 2nd Team OL to graduation.

Some Big names on Defense will need to be replaced: Brish, Robinson, White, Cox, Berry and the Punter Snyder.  Five out of the Six Defensive Linemen returning.

I've heard a rumor that a very good local player who went D2 this year may possibly be enrolling at Mount this spring. I hope it's true, I really wanted him in Purple, Black and White! This will as depth to the offense.

Duce?
😁😁😁
Not confirmed, just a rumor though...

I know you're a professor and everything but, gee, how do you do it? Your "randomness" just staggers the imagination. And since this is Stagg Bowl week, GO RAIDERS. Beat those guys from Texas. (where is that exactly?)  :o >:(
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

Jason stated family time as his reason and I believe him. But I also believe that he realised Westlake is not ever....EVER...going to produce on a consistent basis. I live in Westlake. His 7 and 2 season was a miracle.  Anyone that is any good here goes to Ed's or Iggy (Kevin burke, liam and Tommy Eichenberg,  caden kolesar) Plus Westlake admin just doesn't seen interested.
