It is closer to being d3 football than 40% of the stuff on these boards.

Since the topic is stuff not relevant to D3 football, I''ll add the following as seen today on NDnation.com:

This year Division 1-A and Division 1-AA are gone. Now it's Division 1 –
Bowl Subdivision and Division 1 - Now-We-Feel-Much-Better-About-Ourselves
Subdivision.
Colorado should be too embarrassed to be ashamed of itself for playing a
D1-NWFMBAO team.

reality check

In the middle of moving my home from Connecticut to Arizona but I will find enough time to drive up to ONU to see the stadium and meet Coach Paul Thursday.  I wish I could figure out a way to make a  trip to Decatur to watch my Bears against Millikin but I will just have to be with them in spirit and catch the game results as best I can.

It's great to be back in Ohio for a few days.  I wish I could see ONU play but I will settle for seeing Dial-Roberson Stadium for the first time and watching a high school game Friday night.

Good luck to all this weekend.  I'm trying to avoid the reality of moving for a few minutes...
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)

MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Also ONU unveiled a new sports logo and brought Klondike into the 21st century (like Magenta learning to pass the ball forward).

Check out the new logos at www.onusports.com or www.onu.edu

I didn't get to hear much (got a score update at half time) of the Mount game, but I did see where Miceli played.  I assume he lined up a quarterback, and ran one in?

It appears that LK will employ the change of pace strategy he used with the killer B's a few years ago.  Not a bad way to get the heir apparent some meaningful playing time, and to keep opposing defenses guessing.

Anyone have the details regarding his playing time?

;D  Never mind.....I wised up and just went to "the source" (Ric).

Thanks Ric!

I know this game is a sure win for Capital, but the D3 schedule already has Wilmington losing to Capital next week ;D

hscoach,

While both Ott and Wilma had two wins, neither Cap or MUC had a loss, and neither Ott or Wilma had a conference win.

Ergo, they must have both beaten nonconference teams omitted from the schedule!  I wonder if they counted for pool C? :D

On the subject of SID's, the most recent football item on the Capital website is from May 15th. Hello, hello, hello, is there anybody out there?
