I make the motion to have Frank blocked from the OAC page.  Anyone second my motion?  Please.

I wouldn't expect someone who lives in a glass house to throw rocks and wear sequins.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

HaHAHA  I love Frank's sense of style...always entertaining.  Let's get back to football, ladies and gentlemen.  Peace, love, and D3football.

I started to post multiple times over the last few days, and I am glad that I am "key board challenged" when I am in Chicago & had a few cocktails before landing back at the hotel.  It's very obvious how the real deal is as this has all shook out.

Pat, you have stated the following, or at least tacitly supported the stance that:

1.  He doesn't work for d3football.com.  (FALSE)
2.  Frank Rossi only reported the facts, and his journalistic integrity remains intact.  (FALSE)
3.  Frank Rossi wanted to tell D'Angelo Fulford's story which was TOTAL bull****.  (TRUE)

The fact Frank Rossi stalked DA's case down in FL to the extent that he did was wrong,  was a look at me finding the scoop BS, and he's very lucky that repercussions haven't come or aren't coming.  Pat, cut this guy loose. You are better than this.  And you question why Mount folks won't talk to you?  You are an intelligent, fair thinking individual so it's not rocket science to figure out why.

Frank, good for you that you are gay.  No one really cares, or wanted to know.  We don't like your behavior because you are arrogant, think you can dictate to people on this board what/how they should think & act, and by god you are Frank Rossi and don't make you "ROSSI" someone.

As someone who is actually in regular contact with DA, I can state with utter confidence he neither wants to talk to you, or thinks you have stated things accurately.  In that young man's life, I ask that you just go away.  You have NO CLUE as to what is going on at Mount in regards to coaching, philosophy, how they feel about DA, or what will shake out moving forward.

DA is a kid that came from a tough background, has worked hard on being a better player and man, so the final statement from THIS DA supporter is NO THANK YOU AND GOODBYE!  (see how civil I kept it Pat)   :-X

Dude, I don't control ITH social media except our Facebook page.  I have my own presence here and on Twitter.  Now you're being a prick toward James for no apparent reason.

Let's just take this classic piece of fiction piece by piece...

Remember, Kids, don't OACPP when under the influence.  Stupid things like this can happen.

1. Who stated that?
2. Reporting what the docket states and what it generally means in criminal cases is doing just that.  We have left messages for the State's attorney to find out if our premonition about why the case was abandoned is accurate, but we have not stated it publicly at this time until we verify it.
3. Pat and I both have stated someone should tell the story.  I have stated that it would make as much sense as anything for me to do so, but that's not my decision.  But if he doesn't want to tell it to me, then he probably should ramp down his social media shots being fired at me since it's another bad look.

Stalked?  I'm a part-time Florida resident and teach down there.  I help run a gay flag tournament in Broward County every February.  Last year, I was in town before I officiated JB's wedding and went to a calendar call to see what was up.  I would have done the same with the Wheaton case that apparently you haven't seen my reporting on.  Oh, and by the way, I'm this site's de facto legal expert on stories involving legal issues, so I'm asked to provide updates for felony cases like these, since I know how to find and read the dockets and can speak with attorneys and understand what they're saying/translate into laymen's terms.  You apparently have the order of events on the Mount Union "outage" for D3football backward and don't know what the hell you're talking about.  Seeing that I speak frequently with Lenny Reich even outside of Stagg Bowl time further makes me question what the heck you're talking about.

I'm being accused of gay bashing.  It's pretty relevant under the circumstances.  The rest of this paragraph makes about zero sense.

Well, you know something, you actually made me realize something here.  A year ago, when D'Angelo took issue with some of the things I said about him related to sources I had spoken with at the time, he reached out and asked to speak with me to clear up the record.  I gave him plenty of my time during the offseason to discuss things and for me to write a long summary of the conversation.  I included part of it the other day — the part where he said he wanted to tell his story once the legal issues cleared up.  I took that down as a direct quote last April.  But here's my point: he didn't like it when I had a lot to report/say about him, and I was willing to hear him out.  Right now, between his tweets and things you're claiming he's saying to you and others, he has a lot to say about me.  And you know what?  Now, I take issue with his statements and characterizations.  So, will he provide ME the same courtesy I extended to him when I cut short dinner with my family to speak with him last year?

For the record at this point, I texted him the afternoon after the Stagg Bowl, and said the following, "D'Angelo - Wanted to let you know I was impressed with how you played last night and hope the late injury isn't anything major.  I know we don't always see eye to eye on things, but I'm praying that the off-season goes well and everything for you gets resolved.  You're a true competitor, and for that reason, whether you believe it or not, I'm a fan.  Be well in the off-season. - Frank."

He didn't respond.  I didn't expect a response.  However, I also didn't expect him to turn this into an apparent vendetta after I have tried to take the time to balance my approach as much as possible under the circumstances.  His stats were good, he played hard, and he gave them a chance to win for much of that game — and that superseded some of his antics that I think detracted from his performance that night in some people's eyes.  If I remember the timing correctly, later that weekend, he retweeted the "horns down" thing despite their loss in the game, and I just shook my head and shrugged.

Anyway, whether or not he's willing to extend to me the same courtesy will be between him and I at this point.  But again, skunks — don't post under the influence.  It's not a good look.

Hmmm, all of this talk from Mr Panties in a Wad reminds me of one of my favorite proverbs, paraphrased if course:

"It's better to keep ones mouth shut and let people think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it."

More and more words doesn't make your point stronger.   It only makes you look more petty.  Kind of like dropping expletives or raising your voice into a discussion/argument doesn't make it suddenly more powerful.   It just makes you look weak and dumb.

The last few pages aren't a good look for Rossi.

It's okay, Mark.  September will mark my 25th season covering D3 football.  And luckily for everyone here, I do it for the players, coaches, and their families... Not the OACPP. 💁🏻‍♂️

I thought Mt should have thrown more crossing routes under the two deep safeties vs. MHB.
They went to crossing routes on one of their drives but got away from it despite success.
I remain convinced many offensive coordinators outcoach themselves.

So...

"luckily for everyone in this forum I do it for players/coaches/families, not everyone in this forum."

That's good stuff.
