I was looking at the stats and noticed Burkes was missing from the receiving stats.  Looks like he is no longer listed on the roster.  Keeney was the holder today.  Wonder what happened?  His touches as backup/wildcat QB and 3rd WR have dried up this year (especially lately) with the emergence of Ruby and Plunk.

Not looking forward to the Selection Show... I think we will be left home... I want to say that 9-1 in the OAC should never be left home but I have a hard time thinking we deserve a spot over the other Pool C hopefuls..

Unfortunately, at a place like Mount Union, positions are not automatic, game to game, or year to year.  I do know this...if one has the talent, he will get playing time.  Being a college athlete, one has to have confidence and belief in oneself.  The aforementioned player obviously has this, but that doesn't pay the bills, and quitting at this point in the season, if this is the case, is a shame.  I do, however question why a coach would say this within earshot of any player.

Was his friend the one responsible for reminding him "you're the holder - get out there for the kick"? Or the one that told Ernie a good way to impress VK is to walk onto the field like you don't give a shnikes and take the 5 yard delay penalty? I mean no where in VK's voice yelling "where's the damn holder?" was it implied Ernie should hurry. Maybe it was the friend that was supposed to make sure Ernie didn't F$#@ up a fair catch on a punt he shouldn't have been anywhere near to begin with. Ernie is talented but appears "high maintenance" based on the tweet. Sorry your feelings were hurt but that's life. Maybe the coach was saying it because Ernie had not earned field time that week. It takes more than talent to get out there. It's one thing to be high maintenance - Hill might be able to get away with it (MAYBE) - but a gadget player? No. Ernie had 9.5 per carry - nice - but only 52 carries over 8 games (6 carries a game son doesn't make you the center of the offense).

From everything I have read about NCC, that could be a loseable game for the Raiders if they do bring their A-game. Or am I reading too much into it as the team that was the most likely all-year to get an* at-large over John Carroll?

Hate to see JCU left out.. I know this was a down year for them, but even still 9-1 and not making it, is a very tough pill to swallow..

Round 2 against NCC will be the toughest game until Shenandoah.  That east region isn't exactly murderers' row.

I know SUNY-Maritime got an AQ, but 5-5 should not get you anything. Too bad for JCU. I think North Central will be tough but don't see it as a possible loss. Win their bracket and the semis should not be really tough. Overrated Salisbury - but I think Muhlenberg is the toughest in that part and I don't see that as a battle either.

UMHB in a bracket with UWW and Wartburg and getting the winner of St. Johns, osh kosh, linfield and wheaton bracket. Tough sledding. If only the committee was biased for them they way they are for Mount

MAN, the bracket opposite Mount Union is a terror.  I thought one of the Wisconsin teams would be on the Mount side, as well as Wheaton, and possibly even St. John's.  But don't look ahead, Muhlenberg QB is amazing and North Central is capable of winning a championship.
