Any chance LK will come out of retirement and take back over?

This is what I was alluding to a couple of weeks ago when I said that I hope the staff stays in place. I heard a rumor of this possibly happening.
Obviously there will be an extensive search, but since LK is in charge of it, I'm not worried honestly. There are so many guys in D3 and HS that will be ALL OVER THIS! This is one reason I don't think Dartt or Kappas left yet.
My short list:
Dartt
Kappas
Mike Sirianni
Jason Lewis
Matt Kostelnik
I'm sure some national guys will be interested too.
I should also add that they better be keeping guys like Kappas, Dartt, Miller, Ely, or Gulling around. I get some of the other guys that have just been enjoying coaching at Mount will not come back, but I wouldn't mind if they did too.

I don't think so. He's truly enjoying retirement I think, but if it's just for one year, I could see him working side by side with the new coach.

I would have to think there's always the possibility, if the right hire doesn't present itself, that LK could take the reins for a year and reopen the position for 2021.

Any clues? Does this have to do with the University itself or coaching or LK?

BINGO....a BIG shoe.

I think some of the changes in the UMU administrative structure and who athletics now reports to may have something to do with what has happened, and what might happen from here.

So with President Merriman leaving, they're changing how things are structured? If LK retires (which I could see him doing to go on the road for the grandkids) they will just restructure who sports report to. Who else would they report to?

Changes already happened, this year.  Athletics previously reported to the academic dean. Not so anymore because there are now three academic deans, one for each of the colleges in the new structure.

My question is, what does that change? From the outside, I don't see much difference I guess.

Maybe something to do with the new personalities involved? Just speculating.

Is that to hint about LK retiring?  Is that inside info, or just speculation?
