            HELLO ❓

Hi!  ;D

Same to you, fella! And that goes for your brother as well.
And, by the way, Go Bluestreaks! (Raiders too) 🍺 😎

(At least WE have a new head coach!)
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

Surprised nobody has mentioned any of the signing day commitments to UMU. I've been perusing twitter and have seen quite a few announcements. I also noticed our d1 transfer defensive back from last year has transferred back up to d1, Which is a testament to how hard it is to get on the field at Mount.

Looked over some of the XFL rosters and see a few d3 guys.  Someone from MHB, a kicker from RPI, Heidelberg WR and Joe Callahan is on Team 9 which is an interesting concept.
If I understand it right.  They train in Dallas (where there is another XFL team at the old Rangers stadium.  They total 40 players of all positions excerpt Kickers and long snappers.  They are practixcing everyday and can be called up by any team .  When they get called up they get replaced on team 9 by someone else.  At the end of the 5th week.  Regular team rosters are increased by 5 per team (all from the Team 9 roster) and then they restock Team 9 with 36 new players.

Interesting thing about team 9 is that teams are required to pull from it after the second week of the season.

Yes I'll try to make a list this weekend if I remember.  I was posting here on lunch break the other day so didn't have time

I can help after a list gets going, but I've just been busy to get a list of those names. Looks like some nice athletes.

I've heard good things about the staff coming together. It'll be very similar right now, but Woj will be retiring which was expected. From the things I heard, the change will be good for staff and players.

Woj retiring?

Would you tear down Chapman Hall?
Would you fill in the college lakes?
Would you pave over Mount Union Stadium?

Woj retire? Say it isn't so! We may incur the wrath of the ghost of Orville Nelson Hartshorn.
Yes, Virginia, I know there is a Santa Claus. And I believe. But Woj retire?

A pair of cleats, a football and the horde,
A book of plays beneath the scoreboard...........
(Apologies to The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam)

Ah, I'm inspired by the old poets. OK, maybe not inspired enough but....!

I shall withdraw to my private space and let the memories flow by.

Woj retire? Maybe it's just a dream.
Go Raiders! 🏈 ‼️

You guys ever hear anything about Luke Poorman's younger brothers Ty and Cole? They have committed to UW-W.

Ty, the QB, is legit and imo could bring UWWs offense back to championship level right away. His arm and touch look better than what you guys had for the last couple of years. Cole looks like a nice LBer, but you guys always have tough, smart LBers flying around Wisconsin.

I did see that Austin Beck, QB from Canton Central Catholic, has said he will play football and baseball at Mount Union. He's a nice looking QB and good athlete.

Thank you. Sounds promising!

Seeing rumors that YSU's new head coach is hiring JCU's defensive coordinator. I believe they worked together at Iowa State.
