Get up 20-0 and shut it down, again...glad to get out of there with minimal injuries. Dirty, cheap east coast program. The refs had no control of that game
Totally agree, there were more cheap shots made than a Three Stooges episode. Not sure why the player that kicked Ruby on the ground and swung at a coach wasn't penalized but refs truly lost control. Announcers for Mactv done a great job on broadcasting and being gracious over the Mount student broadcasting nearby with all their excitement.

Thanks very much, guys.

I still use the stat sheets I cribbed from Ric Brienza years ago. :)

Who was the mystery man kicked off the Mount Union sideline in the 1st Quarter?
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

Good question. I really don't know.

The Mount radio guy had a good reason to be excited! If Del Val ever wins a quarterfinal game, I might burst into flames on air. :)

My guess would be a "ball boy" or other such game staff provided by Del Val.  On the way off the field he seemed pretty familiar with the Del Val players.  In my experience, those people are instructed to speak only to each other and the officials, so if there were some words exchanged toward players or coaches, UMU was well within their rights to have him removed from their sideline.  Being on the visitor's sideline, they can also hear coaches and athletes speaking which may give a competitive advantage to the home team if they're yelling or signaling to the home sideline...not assuming what happened, just giving all the possibilities I could think of.

I replayed the game and the player high five was pretty telling, the player clearly knew him and he knew the player. Probably should have been a penalty or something.

QuoteIncredibly classy broadcast with the DelVal video broadcast!  Congrats to the football team and to the broadcast crew.

Thanks much. Students work really hard, especially Tony the producer.

Does anybody know who the cameraman was today?   ;D

D3fanboy, you are correct!

The Raiders will play Wartburg in Alliance. It has been posted on both team's website schedule. :)

What's the early projection for spread for each of the Semis games?

What's the early projection for spread for each of the Semis games?

Mount will get up 20-0, start running the ball up the middle over and over, maybe mixing in some RB swing passes. Wartburg storms back to take a 21-20 lead in the 4th qtr and then Mount gets a late Ruby TD to go up 27-21.  Mount's gassed defense steps up to get one crucial stop and Mount kneels it out.  so Mount -6.5, NCC is easily -13.5

I'm wondering how much the weather was a cause of mount's inconsistency on offense yesterday. It looked like it should have been a pretty hard game to pass in. Its also similar weather to the BW game.

Easily 13.5? Curious about your thoughts on this, I thought UMHB looked pretty scary yesterday once they broke the game open in the 4th

NCC is heads and shoulders above everyone else.  I can't wait for their super seniors to finally graduate.  They will smack UMHB in the mouth early, just like UWW and Bethel, but not let them back into the game.  NCC is like UWW on steroids.
