I go to practices to watch the quarterbacks and the receivers. I've seen enough of Mount Union to say that the new QB, number 8, Noah B...,is the reincarnation of The Great Number 7, Bill Borchert. (moment of silence please for the GOAT.)
I predict a 70% completion rate. The offense looks unstoppable. Speed, and skill are all over the place.

I'm excited to see an athlete like Beaudrie at QB.  The ability and willingness to pull the ball down and run it is a difference maker IMO.

Unrelated to football, but with all the uncertainty in the small college landscape I was happy to see Mount brought in its largest freshmen class ever at 755 students.  Also that the school of engineering will be the Brenton School of Engineering after a large gift to expand the engineering school with new majors.

The incoming enrollment is great to hear. I'm not worried, but they did need to make some adjustments, as ALL universities have had to.

Spent a lot of time talking about the number of schools that are struggling under their own weight due to lack of enrollment.  A very serious issue with two schools, Eastern Nazarene and Clarks Summit closing their doors just last month.  And more to come....

But as a Purple Raider, it tickles me purple that our enrollment and endowment are in a very healthy place.  Now if we can win a national title, I am good.  No need for more....

The D3Football.com "Teams"/"Schedule" website page selection shows a home game for Ferrum against Greensboro tonight.  No accompanying scoreboard update or result.
Must be a mistake.
Greensboro was a scrimmage.
O.K. ... Agreed ... It is an error that the scrimmage shows on both teams' schedules as an in-season game.

looks like the majority of the "D3 experts" are predicting a truly historic D3FB season, Mount Union missing the semifinals in back-to-back seasons hasn't happened since 1990-91.  Hopefully the '24 Purple Raiders can somehow put together a decent season....

MOUNT2019

Keep betting against them, this team will bring back the dominance!

I'm anxious for the season to start and it sounds like the offense has reloaded in some areas of concern.  Awesome news about the enrollment.

I would really like to see some more consistency and execution of plays and defensive schemes. One of the traits the UMU has always possessed is near flawless execution.

I think having Rossy Moore on one side and Brown on the other is gonna be terrible for opposing offenses.  Factor and others in the middle and some experience at safety...  I think that sounds awesome

Factor is so underrated.  He's been the best DL on Mount for the past few seasons.  Rossy and Brown on the edges and big Cramer eating up the middle, Factor is going to dominate if 1-on-1.

I was hoping there would be a roster included so we could see who made the travel list this week.  That usually gives a clue beyond the 2 deep how things came out of camp.

Sometimes it is updated a day or so later.  I'm surprised DeShields still has a year of eligibility.
