Yeah, Cap's stream went back under again after I posted that, sorry.

The JCU kids aren't awful but the Cap broadcasters were better.

Fumble JCU, game pretty much over.

I was impressed with both teams tonight, but think Cap deserves to drop a good deal in the polls.

Yikes...a win is a win

come on 70's if that was Mount you would be saying what heart and effort to pull out a win on the road.

Nope.  If MUC only beats JCU 24-21, I would say they got darn lucky to get out of there with a W.

If Mount plays that poorly against JCU I'll be figuring on having a free weekend in December. Sorry CU, but they were playing a very average JCU team with a freshman QB making his first start. I personally don't see them as the third best team in the country. Anyway, it's time to watch the Mount game again.

I don't mean to make anyone's head big, I just think credit should be given where credit is earned.  Besides, someone has to standup for the non Mount Union players.  Speaking of Credit earned......Shawn Papp, greastest lineman in CU history!!!!!!!!
What do you think?

Nope, that honor goes to Jon Kovach!  :)

Kirasdad,

A little delayed, but thanks.  Unfortunately, not at all true (maybe the dirtiest, but not the best!).

Thanks anyway.  and plus karma for you!

You can't think poll position without considering the other teams.  #4 St. John's MIGHT pass them (decisively beat a highly repectable St. Olaf's on the road), but #5 Hardin-Simmons lost, #6 Wesley handily beat an 0-4 team, #7 and #8 each only won by 1 TD.

Except MAYBE St. John's, who's gonna pass 'em?!
