A good chance you may have heard me, but one thing the crowd did start to get off their hands a bit and make some noise! Maybe a few got their Geritol and Viagra mixed, and were just a bit pumped!

A GERITOL and VIAGRA cocktail....BRILLIANT!  Might be the only way to get some fans UP for the game and add a little ENERGY to the stands.

I dont know what Justen Stickley had for breakfast before the game...but after watching the replay,whatever it was should be mandatory for everyone! Well done Mr Stickley.

Watched the TV replay.  Joe and Harry thought the refs were terrible as well.    They felt the calls were very onesided and that Cap. was holding as much as MT if not more esp. on Stickley.

There must have been a new rule change regarding what constitutes holding and only the Refs have that info. From now on lets have the interior linemen wear oven mits. Really now, how is it possible to be THAT successful every week without cheating?  Its not, in the eyes of the Refs evidently. What amazes me is how hard they look to find Mount Union faults and cant see even the most flagrant holds in the open field on the opponents! Maybe the Raiders are seen as bullies and the officials are just trying to be the equalizers. I hate to hammer on the refs constantly, but there is more than a little trend here.

Capital needed to put 4 quaters of good football together and they did'nt, plain and simple. Mount is a good football team but they can be beat. Cap has to get things together and win out. I have to say that Mount has to have the rudest fans I have ever encountered.

How many good quaters (sic) did Capital put together?  You are a sagacious observer of Mount Football.  Indeed, the Kehres record proves your point - Mount can be beaten.  They have been, about once a year during the Kehres years.  Is it equally clear to you that Capital can be beaten?

Thanks Mr. Obvious, I was still unclear on whether or not Capital was unbeatable after this weekend.

Mounts fans cant be the worst you guys have ever seen. Ive been to highschool games where those fans make the Raider fans seem sedated. As long as the revelry doesnt take a personal turn just ignorr them and let them have a good time. Ever been to Browns stadium? The dawg pound isnt full of police dawgs...if you know what I mean.

As rude as Stickley was I'm surprised the refs didn't kick him out of the game.

Does anyone give JC any more than a slim and none chance against Mount?

Mount faced three top defenses and not one could stop the running game. I just don't see JC doing any better.

It's usually a parent, and magically always from the LOSING team when we hear about Mount fans being rude.  I think that's about the biggest joke I have ever heard.  Mount fans are mild compared to most college football fans.  Now if CU Parent was one of the refs today, that is another story.  I think I called them idiots, pathetic morons, biased and stupid, to name a few of my comments.  

Can Mount be beat?  Of course.  Could anyone have reached that conclusion after watching the Mount-CAP game.....PUH LEASE!  Take your sour grapes and head down the road.  Mount beat CAP in EVERY aspect of the game.  It wasn't even CLOSE.  What could you possibly have seen that makes you think they can be beat

WRMU Broadcast Crew:
I've been listening to Mount Union games on WRMU since 1999 and this crew is the best yet.  They are better than a lot of TV broadcasters on regional college games.  Great job, guys.

...and i was not making any exuses for the lost. just agreeing with cu fan, as you all remember I said how I feel about the Mt. Fans a few weeks ago, well before the game.

I am not making any excuses for Cap, they got beat by a good team. Do I think that we could have beaten them had we played much better. YES!
As far as the fans go, you did'nt hear the comments yelled at us while we were setting up to feed the team. In the past 5 years we have played at Mount 4 times and it has always been the same thing. I do hope we win out and get a shot at them again.
