BOth are excellent players but would have to give Justin the nod! Though Mount's defense is one of the fastest its ever been, it makes you wonder had Justin decided not to come back to play again this yr, where the defense would be. NO doubt they would still be every bit as effective but, Stick adds a whole different dimension for an O-line to guard against!

What's up with Heidleberg? Can they be a successful team? Trying to figure them out, it looks like a nice school.

OAC 2007 Offensive POY Poll

National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

POY-Nate Kmic-Best offensive player in the league.

MVP-Rocky Pentello--Most Valuable to his team.

I totally agree with cu fan about Caps o-line. They have been great all year. They had only given up 4 sacks till the Mount game. I expect that they will get it together for the next two games. Mounts D-line gave them fits. They are a good team.

GO CAPITAL!!

One thing I have witnessed over the years when it comes to accolades in the OAC, the upperclassmen usually get the nod...I think the difference maker when comparing Kmic to Pentello, would be the value of that person to his team.  Where would Cap be without Pentello??  IMHO, they would be a 3 or 4 loss team.  Where would MUC be without Kmic??  IMHO, they would be right where they are now.

Defensive POY will probably be J Trusnik because he won it previously and he'll have good numbers, but the guy that I think should get it is Matt Kostelnik.  He's got insane "big play" numbers from at safety and on special teams.

Offensive POY will be Pentello because he's a senior and will have great numbers.  Though I agree with CUfan that Kmic is the best offensive player, but being only a sophomore will hurt him in the POY vote.  But then again, the NCAA still has Rocky listed as a freshman! ;D

With Meadows hurt, which RB gets the other first team spot beside Kmic?  Mulkey from Cap?  Hedges from BW?

For All-OAC at QB, the pecking order should be 1 = Pentello, 2 = Jorris, 3 = Vrable.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

cu fan   Pentello is the cap. offense valuable or not.

According to the lead story on D3 St. Schlolastic new football program is in search of 90 some young males to field a team.  I see a lot of possibilities with the school being 70% women.  What an opportunity.  I wonder if I still have any elligibility left?

It's good to see my long standing support of Stix vindicated. The BW and Capital coaches deserve the credit for preparing their teams to play the Purples. They are the only teams who arn't freaked out by playing us.We have seen undefeated, conference champs get down a few scores and then get obliterated,Cap.kept their poise and BW just played us straight up.Rocky showed a lot of grit under very difficult circumstances, but Jorris is the best QB in the OAC.

Duluth? What's in Duluth?

purple...Jorris very well may be the best qb in the OAC but with our running game he doesn't have to throw that much which has to make his job a little easier.

Congrats on the 1,000th post.  :) That's a lot of insight to dispense.

Thanks on the wisdom comment Shark...but most of my fellow CCIW posters have a different name for it.
