On the money   LK is keenly aware of your stud number 90 and what he can do.  He mentioned him in a local paper interview.  What that means to me is that Mt. will do their best to accommodate him.

Just how fast is he?  Derek Stanley from Whitewater was clocked by an NFL scout this spring at 4.26 in the 40.  He's consistently at 4.3 flat.

Anyone got a 40 time on Garcon.... I'm assuming they are pretty close.

This Spring Garcon was busy on the 4x100 meters team that placed 1st at D3 NCAA Nationals. They might be equal for 40 yards but I'll take Pierre after that

Garcon's best 100 time was 10.61.  That's 4.2 for 40. Yes, I know that his first 40  would have been slower than that, but something to consider.

Lovely. because Coach Swider, in his comments, is clearly preparing for a 10.4 guy. 10.6 is no problem.  :'(

Track speed and football speed are quite different.  Also, I think Garcon was still recovering from a football leg injury last year.  :)

As good as he was Saturday, do you think Garcon is still recovering from that injury?  He seemed to be limping at times when just walking some of us noticed.  Still, it didn't seem to hamper his performance against us. :)  Anyway, good luck to you guys this Sat.  I'd venture to say it could be a great game to watch.

I think Nick Barren deserved better than Honorable Mention in the All OAC selections, even though so many Mount players were honored.  Barren has been outstanding all year.

Reality,
Well said buddy....I think someone pee'd in my frosted flakes the other day! This is the first time in a long time that the GCL won't be represented at state.

Don't know, haven't seen him play in person this year.  I thought that he was fully recovered by the end of track season last year.

It pains me to say this but at least we have Alter.

I also read an interview in the Dayton Daily News about Chad Otte's little brother from Maria Stein.  He sounds like a a stud (1800+ yards and 28 TD's on a balanced offense) and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at an OAC school next season.

dabein22.. i could not agree with your comments anymore...my only thing against Rocky would be holding on to the ball too long and making his o-line give up those coverage sacks... Best player in DIII by far...no comparison to anyone else...  I am not on here to bash other players, but are u serious... okay community service is only a 3rd of the criteria correct... what about the other 2/3... Rocky i am sure does well in the classroom and is way ahead of any of the others on the field....
Reality Check...sorry to here u are friends with Doyle (good guy) but getting back to Trusnik... u say he was hurt and used as a decoy against mount struggled due to injuries... okay well sorry everyone plays through injuries... i played on a line that had a guy with a torn labrum, a guy with a broken ankle and not to mention someone who had a broken back... and they seemed to perform well in the big games... injuries do not merit awards i am sorry... Stickley was better and so was Bucci..... Good job to those players who had big games against H-burg, wilmington and musky

Did you really have to bring that kid up. I can only pray Norwalk St Paul takes them out tomorrow night so we don't have to see him next week. Of course we need to win as well. 8)
