As I listened on the radio it felt like because of Mount's running game that Wheaton was never really in this one.  I would be interested in what you thought of Wheaton's team and the general atmosphere there.  Thanks!

Congrats to MUC and Capital on the wins today.

Clearly the CCIW reps will not pose a threat to the top OAC teams until we can step up the defensive play to the next level - like Augie did back in the mid-80's.  The speed and dominance of the MUC defense is amazing.  (Not to take anything away from the MUC offensive line and Kmic  :o)

Congrats to the OAC for once again proving their #1 status - at least when it comes to the CCIW.  Also, thanks to the MUC radio group for a great call on todays game.

It was a perfect day for a college football game.Wheaton brought a decent crowd ,and they were very enthusiastic. The Thunder were never really in the game, they hit a few passes, some of the miracle variety,to keep Mount back. The defensive line of the Raiders were just great, they ate Wheaton alive all day.Stickley made several big plays and the entire front kept steady pressure on the Wheaton QB,who did well untill he got inside the 30.At that point it seemed Mount had 7 DB's in the game and no one was open but he tried to grease a few in there and made poor throws.Kmic was awsome.I don't recall Wray carrying the ball much(the usual LK punishment for fumbles). We ran the ball today with Kmic and the backup QB.The offense looked sharp. The smell of burgers cooking on the grill permeated the stadium..It was a beautiful day.If you ever need tics let me know and I'll leave them at the will-call.

Similar kudos to the MUC radio student broadcast crew on the CCIW chat board, of which I echo them all.
The enthusiasm in the student broadcast teams' voices during a great play by the opposition is nearly that when MUC makes a great play of their own.  They give sincere credit where credit is rightfully due.
Nice work!

I will say this after Capitals win, Rocky is a much better QB than Kniss.

Congrats to the OAC.

Congrats to the OAC.

And how many of Kniss' games have you seen Coach CuFan?

obviously today he was much better TODAY and Pentello is an outstanding quarterback, but having watched the same two last year i would have made (but chose not to) the same statement about kniss vs pentello. I knew better then because of the success he had. Don't diminish your victory by saying pointless stuff like that.

Congrats to Capital on a great home victory in the playoffs. good luck on the road vs MUC next week.

Pretty solid job today by MUC student radio, but did anybody catch them playing a puff the magic dragon PSA during the second quarter? They may call a good game, but they need to work on their technical skills.

Wheaton was a well coached team and if they had not turned the ball over in the redzone [4 times ] the score would have been alot closer.   I do not believe the stud a baker [90] had any sacks.  He caused some hurries  and he is very quick  with some good moves.  Mt. adjusted and pretty much neutralized his QB pressure/rush.  kmic for the heisman shirts were numerous in the crowd.  After his showing today, I believe it.
The next  addition of Rocky's Return  will be aired next Saturday.  Cold will be the venue.

I think that PSA is a few years old.  Don't think the current play-by-play crew were involved with that.
