If Kniss is a Gagliardi finalist then Rocky should be in New York for the Heisman presentation.

For all you know, Kniss crushes Pentello in the academics and community service department. Remember the Gagliardi is NOT the Division III Heisman award.

An old coach once told me that he only picks on and teases the players he likes and respects.  We admire Pentello for his play and joke about him being there forever, so what?

For all the Cap fans who are whining about this, take a second to think about that and quit crying like little girls.  You don't see us picking on Heidleberg or Muskingum's QB do you?  Be glad that your team and QB are good enough for us to pay attention to.  Now grow some balls and quit acting like little girls.

Now that I have said my peace:

Pentello is old and has been there for like 10 years and will go the way of Arth and Larlham and go 0-fer vs. the Raiders!!

Say it isn't so.  Pentello isn't the best at everything?  Oh, the horror!

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Look at the bright side Cap fans, beating NCC gives Rocky another shot at the OAC records books for becoming the first QB in history to lose to Mount 6 times. ;D

I took my son to the Tampa Bay Lightning game last night and while waiting in line at the ATM I turn around and see a kid with a "CAPITAL" sweatshirt on with his dad.  I ask him if that is CAP from Columbus OH and pointed to the Mount Union 2005 National Championship T-Shirt I was wearing....

You have already stated this, no need to remind us!!  Rocky & Coach Collins were on the local Sports Show (Ch. 10's Wall to Wall Sports) last night, and guess what the first thing Pentello pointed out...he is 0-fer against MUC!!!  I think if this is not motivating enough to get you pumped up, then stay home in C-bus!!

QuoteI like Arcidiacono, Sharpe and Robinson, but I think it's fair to assume Beaver is the best and Kmic is not far behind.

To be exact, he said that.  And you are right, it was just one guru.   :)

Right, cause we wouldn't want something like FACTS to get in the way of your posting.

Sorry to break up the Capital pissing match, but I have a question regarding the All-OAC selections.  I understand J Trusnik getting D-Lineman of the Year even though his numbers were down becuase of injury because he's still a beast and is a senior, but how does Meadows still get 1st team RB?   Seems like 2nd team would have made more sense to me.   Was also surprised to see Justin Wray get 2nd team at RB when playing as Kmic's back-up.

sometimes selections do not make the most sense... i played with a kid in hs who played only 3 games but was all-district... i think it was soley based on his previous season... i also have witnessed a player soley because of his size become all-state... I do agree with the selection process, but sometimes there are always a few wrenches and wildcards thrown out there... now maybe Meadows made that much of an impact ealy on in the season to have the coaches make notice of him.. weirder things have happened....
