I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

HSCoach might be bald but he's still younger than Rocky.

RC, you beat me to it! ;D

Crusader26:  No, it doesn't make me feel younger, but it's the only slam I have left since Pentello has already been tabbed as the "best QB in the history of the OAC".  So what's left for me to hold onto since Ballard, Borchert and Arth pail in comparison to the Almighty Rock?  Yup, he's older than dirt.

And, as can be seen from this quote from the Repository, it seems that Rocky is not the best QB ever in the history of DIII football.

"This will be the final time Mount Union faces Pentello. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior has thrown for 12,314 yards in four seasons, fourth-best ever in Division III and 17th overall in any college division. Pentello has 109 touchdown passes and a 36-10 record as a starter."

and he's old, too!! ;D

Say it ain't so, Rocky ain't the best?  :P

Clearly it's High School playoff Friday. My team isn't in them and yet I get ready to burn a vacation day to sit in the rain and probably snow by the DVI game. Then run home dry everything out for Saturday in the snow at Alliance.

PS Check out the 600 mile radar. Look at the SNOW AROUND SOUTH BEND
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

cant wait to head to Alliance to watch the young qb from Capital, somone named Rocky Pentello face the man they call Jorris...the much anticipated game with rely on the strength of Kirasdad and seventiesraider.. with the support of these characters only Skunks_sidekick can make an accurate prediction...Yelling from the press box will be the unproven Ric who is very accurate with his facts and unbelieveable preception for spelling errors.. Lets not forget funny man hscoach with his up to date jokes he can add a little humor to the game and maybe throw a few more Rocky's old jokes out there before the game... Providing back up for Ric will be Reality Check who will be stationed back home watching from a live video telecast at the Taco bell/pizza hut in ada Ohio, he will have guest appearances by THE TRUSNIK brothers....
GO CAP

cufan

My feeling on tomorrow's game....This year kind of reminds me of last year.  Cap lost by a couple scores in the regular season and made a strong showing in the playoff game.  Let's not forget Cap played without one of the best defensive players in the league (maybe the best) and without their best WR in the first game.  I think having Kyle back will give them a lot more options up front.  Right now Cap is as healthy as they have been all year and they are playing their best football.  With all that being said .....they will need to play even better.  Other than the obvious protect Rocky and have some sort running game they will need to win the field position battle, and maybe get a couple of breaks.

2 minute......NICE!   ;D

FINALLY.....a CAP fan responds with some humor and not with....Rocky's the best...quit calling him old.....you Mount fans are rude...etc..etc...

PLEASE let this storm front get through here tonight/tomorrow morning so by game time we are dealing with cold, but no precipitation.

Prediction - Mount steals Rocky's cane in the first quarter, beats the Hausler's (HOWEVER many of those defensive gurus there are), and Kmic sets the all-time playoff record for running yards in a game.

Mount - 35

CAP - 14

Mount by 3

I agree 100%.  Good to see they're FINALLY catching on.

And ditto on the weather thing.  No excuses this time around.  May the best team win!

That is hilarious! I see the Raiders using Micheli more this time and running alot. Kmic has a career day while Rocky (the 4th best QB in the history of the world) uses his AARP card for a discount bus ticket back to Columbus.

A reliable source tells me Rocky prepares for game day by first watching reruns of
The Little Rascals, his his favorite TV show while growing up.

I actually tore up my ankle in the Semi-Finals (A la Terrel Owens a couple of years ago) and didn't get to play in the Championship game.  My reward was a screw in my ankle and crutches for 12 weeks.  You would think that I would learn my lesson, but I am going to play again this year...
