It's pretty much documented that he did have Rowan in the bracket...at least it was in their pre-playoff predictions.

Does anyone have any information on the televison broadcast of today's Mount Union / Capital game ?  It was supposed to be on TV52 at 8PM.  That time slot is taken.

HURFMUC,

I checked the schedule online.  It says there is a high school basketball game, but I will try it just the same.     I thought maybe it would be on a different station.     Thanks.

Mountfan08 - Obviously you were much more subtle than I regarding the blindman, er, blind_side. Yours was a excellent post.

Regarding me not being impressed with Rocky today...I would have been impressed if he had guided Cap to a win. And yes, he is a great QB as the stats state. I wonder if Rocky would trade the 12,000+ yards and 111 TD passes for a win against Mount especially the last two playoff games. What do you think?

blind_side,

You really are not doing a good job of representing Capital University right now.

I am usually entertained by your obvious attempts to ruffle the feathers of the members of this board.  However, your post from earlier today makes you look like a sore loser.  Considering your history as an OAC player against MUC I understand the competitive side of you disliking Mount Union, however your sore loser comments are inappropriate.

Its been said time and time before, but all teams have fans, players, and alums that are jerks and lacking in class.  Its a part of sports.

Pay no mind to Pat, he's picked against Fisher the whole post season. (was that tongue in cheek?)

I picked SJF against Union.

I don't think you'll find anyone saying "Mt. Union hasn't seen an (anything) like fishers" - That's foolish.

If not, it's still a good reminder of previous years on this board. :)

Let me be the first to say: Mount Union hasn't seen a _______ like St. John Fisher's before.

Hmm, actually not as hard to type with my tongue in my cheek as I thought.

So I take it you had Rowan in your bracket pat?

You'd have to have visited the OAC board in previous Decembers to understand, Upstate. I know you haven't had reason to before today.

Now that Capital is out of the playoffs, you can resume your routine of punching babies and spitting on little old ladies.

Real classy.  Thankfully, most of us know that there are good posters from Capital on this board.

Hi Guys -

Sorry, been away for awhile.  Long story.  Break out the violins.

My question to all the MUC faithful ... why has Larry put up with the 100+ penalty yards per game that we've seen this year?  It may not hurt against a Heidelberg (no offense), but it's gonna bit them in the ass somewhere in the playoffs.

So many 10s and 15s ... where is the reeming?

SJF ... nice job putting those Rowan posers away.  Welcome to the Machine!

Cheers!

hopefully the MUC posters are classier than the Rowan posters....though I did win a bet against a Rowan poster and he can no longer post here ever again

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

If this meeting between SJF and MUC were occurring in the 2007 playoffs instead of 2006, SJF could have the distinction of being the only team to have a season ended and a season begun with losses to Mount Union in consecutive years.

this should become a friendly rivalry and I think both teams should be real excited about the prospects of playing each other again in the regular season...could become a Notre Dame-USC of DIII

little early to put it in that category..."if" it's a good game, then OK...gotta play the game first though...

"In retrospect, I didn't win  anything when I was at Captial .  Granted , I put up some fairly good numbers in my carreer.  But  we didn't beat Mount Union, we didn't win  a national championship, we never won the OAC title.  That was a shame."  Rocky Pentello   Sunday Canton Repository
