The previous post was a poor attempt at humor on this quiet Wednesday morning.  As I have never met the aforementioned Stoonkster, I can neither confirm or deny the premise that he may have body odor.

still funny however...with the "Grinch-like" holiday reference + karma to you.

Tags,
MUC's base defense is a 4-2-5 and has a very stout rush defense in that set.  Goes to either a 4-1-6 or a 3-2-6 in obvious passing situations.  So I wouldn't bank on seeing MUC stack the line of scrimmage to stop the running game.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

One thing you can count on is their safeties making a lot of tackles at about 2 yds from the LOS. So it will appear they defend the run w 6 in the box but in reality that is not the case. Their secondary is really good at run support. excellent tacklers as well.

MUC hasn't seen this + we will bring that + our QB is this  + Mount has to many penalties = MUC 38 St John 10.

I understand that MUC has the #1 offense in D3 and SJF has the #2 offense.  Does anyone know how the defenses rank?
Thanks.

skunks_sidekick

Mount - #2 total defense in D-III
SJF - #47

NICE!   ;D

Thanks.
Now I feel better about Saturday's game.
It won't be so cold.

Their yardage given up is decieving.  They run a 4-4 w/ a cover 3 behind it, its a bend but dont break philosophy.  They'll give you the underneath stuff but their objective is not to give up the big play, they've only allowed 6 TD passes all season.  They tighten up in the redzone as well, they only allow 12 pts a game (55 came in a shootout loss vs a team that could do nothing wrong that day).
