I'm not saying they didn't gameplan to stop kmic anyone playing MUC is going to gameplan to stop Kmic but it's different if you;ve never played him before the kid is a beast and just like chris sharpe it helps to see him live once before you play him again...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Small but Slow

He is a good fit in that system.  The scary part of that offense is even when you know who is getting the ball you have to be conscious of the pass, the option, or something else. With his talent and the faith his o-line has in him and the whole runing package nobody may slow him down this year.

I highly doubt capital would be a 6pt favorite over Fisher anywhere...ask Mount fans who they would rather play and it would be capital...When you play a team twice you shoud normally split it...I believe that if Mount was at fisher this year...it would have been a close game but fisher would have squeaked it out...that's how close these two teams were....as I hope any mount fan would say...the game was very close and the only reason it ended up being a 12 point win is because the blocked field goal destroyed any momentum fisher had

For the record, Capital would easily be a 6 point favorite.  Maybe even more, but I was trying to be nice.  And this MUC fan would much rather play SJF again then play Capital.  The majority of the people I talked to BEFORE the SJF game thought that MUC and WWW both had Regional Final opponents that would be tougher than their Semi-Final opponents.  And after the game I still thought that way, only more so.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that SJF wasn't a very good team because they were.  They're just not the best team MUC has seen this year.  That goes to Capital at this point, and will switch Whitewater come Saturday.  SJF should be very proud of their season and their prospects for 2007 as they return a ton of talent.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

wow than your not saying much for your team....Fisher A) ran for the most yards this year on the Mount d...b held Mount far under there average and would have been even more so if not for the blocked field goal... I repeat Fisher beats capital in a close game... and probably beats mount if the game is in Rochester

Uhm, I only had two and a half beers Friday night, not enough to forget promising press box passes. Besides, it's supposed to be a nice day. You'll be fine outside.

Rats--Thought I'd try--actually I already have my tickets--section C, up high--you might pick up my obnoxiously loud yelling (at least that what my wife calls it) on the crowd mics.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Gentlemen  The only way to settle this debate is to have Fisher schedule Cap with a home and home ticket after they have finished with Mt.

What would have SJF done if MUC wanted to wake up their passing game??  Why try to fix something if it's not broken??  If MUC, or any other coach in the nation for that matter, would have the chance to control the clock & give their RB 300+ yards, I think they would take it any day of the week, and twice on Saturday.  I am not saying SJF is better than Cap, or Cap is better the SJF...its just hard to justify who wins or who loses if this game was played against each other.

Capital would not beat this year's Fisher team....done nuff said... Capital lost the first time they played MU 38-12  (?)  for not the blocked field goal this game could have been 19-14 or anything around their a hard fought game...Capital would not beat fisher...

"If" this and "If" that...you can say that about any game...If mount didnt block a punt against cap to turn the momentum, cap would have won...riiiiiiiiight...

superman57

go ask LK what the turning moment of that game was... the blocked field goal..blocked punt and blocked field goal are two different beasts blocked field goal when you are down within the 12 and have the chance to take the lead....and blocked punt when mount has stopped you once again and you have to punt the ball once again....fisher gave up a saftey on the punt but no one has mentioned that debacle...because it did not affect fisher

Justen Stickley on the field goal block:

"There comes a point in time in a game," Stickley said afterwards, "where you need to make a play and you need to do something to stop the momentum of the other team. I think that was that point. We were able to swing what was left of their momentum."

FisherFan:

I know the guy that creates that, and yes he is one of the purple suit guy.  If i know him like i do, he'll have one out about Whitewater soon.  That or right after the Stagg Bowl is over.

Where is everyone staying overnight at?  I'm looking for a cheap room for the night.  Just wondering what prices I can get down there.

Quality Inn Salem is about the cheapest I've found. Not sure if they have rooms left though. $64 for king, $69 double. I believe there is a Stagg Bowl rate. Its about 2 miles from the Stadium. Hope this helps. I think it is listed as one of the hotels on the StaggBowl site linked from the front page. ;)

You might try the Holiday Inn Express.  They are about the same price range and the motel is about less than 1 mile from the Stadium.  I got rooms there, booking them less than a week, both Stagg Bowl trips I made.  Hopefully, they might still have some left.  Good luck and have a great time.
