After reading both coaches comments about the game,,and the importance of the MUC defense ,,,,is it time to give some time to Vince Kehres.

In two seasons VK has built a solid scheme and has made some great calls ,,and is only going to get better as his seasons go on.It is not an easy task to come in and follow a very good Defensive coach like Don Mongomery. Vince has done this and the "D" has not skipped a beat,,a newer scheme,,and putting a little more of a pressure package to meet the abilities of his players,,,,a real nice job by a young and coming coach !!

Small but Slow

Vince wouldn't be the first son of a great DIII coach to go on to a successful career in coaching.  A former B-W coach has a son who's done pretty well for himself at the I-AA level and has enjoyed pretty good success at the D-I level.  We could be watching the beginnings of a big time coaching star.

Now wouldn't that be something!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Wow, guys!  It sure is nice to be missed.  This must go back to that whole "absence makes the heart grow fonder" thing.  On a serious note, I have not gone anywhere.  I was here all along-- reading threads, checking box scores, and doing all of the regular things I did.  I just didn't have the time to post worthy material 4u.  I will definitely continue to linger around the board and hopefully this off-season (although it will be filled with an addition to my family) will present me some opportunities to throw some smack, hopefully create a smile or two, and maybe even slip in some inside information.
Well, I'll keep this post on the straight and narrow (strictly because it is my first one after an extended absence).  I do want to wish all those great guys on this board a Happy Holiday Season!  All my best for a terrific 2007.  I look forward to sharing barbs with you all soon.

Pat,
You continue to put an excellent product on the net and I hope you know how grateful I was to have your sight as a resource for all my favorite D3 Football News.  You and your guys are the best!

Guess who's back?  Back again?  4u's back... Tell your friends.

Yes, glad to have you back.  Figured you were busy but at least "lurking around" to keep up with what was going on here.  Anyway, congrats on the "new addition" if that is what I think you mean.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday as well.  See you around.
Best,

Congrats to MUC on their ninth!!! and to WWW on a great season.  I have one to go, and it looks like she's headed to Mount.  That means I have a good excuse to attend all the Games!
Pat and Co. Great site!  Keep up the good work.
Happy Holidays to All!!

One of the four finalists for the Whitewater job is Curt Wiese, head football coach and offensive coordinator at Marietta College. Could be another opening for an OAC boy. I would hope Marietta would be tired of being resume material and look locally.
