Sounds like the Polar Bears should be leading at the half.

A hook and ladder play goes the distance but the receiver was called out at the one yard line with no time left on the clock.  ONU's broadcasters say it was a bad call but I am guessing that they are also pulling for the Polar Bears.

Looking a lot like the last two games...

Can Garcon fly or what? 21 straight points? WOW!

WOW!
What a difference a few minutes make in the MUC game!
3 offensive plays and 3 TDs!!!

reality check

Polar Bears have their first lead.  Quick 50 yard TD drive and ONU leads 25-24 two minutes into third quarter.  Tried an onside kick but failed...

I guess I should clarify by saying, three consecutive plays involving 3 possessions, that each resulted in a TD.

A 16-10 final in the Musky-B-W game.

JCU takes advantage of a short field and answers ONU's score.

They just put another one in the endzone with their back-up QB at the helm.

Streaks lead 36-25.

I posted in here that the streak would end this season four weeks ago...we will see if we are right.

Ric- I don't think the NCAA committee would choose ONU to go to the playoffs with a pool c bid. We have to run the table to go to the playoffs and it sounds like JCU 0-70 vs MUC is giving us all we can handle.

I'll be with you on the ONU game, Reality Check, in a couple of minutes.

MUC's Ross Watson...one heck of a receiver! Three catches today!!  Rocky went to him early and often!!!

Capital Crusaders...
"Pesky"
"Tricky"

I heard it on the MUC broadcast.

- I am with you on the ONU-JCU game now....
WOW...a JCU TD...ugly.  Nastier than a catholic school prom date.  But I never count the Pooh-bears out!
- Budweiser Select is the beverage of choice today.  I just poured one, in honor of you, into one of my several (stolen) Fricker's "Frickin' Beer" glasses.

I've been reading about this Cap defense for 2+ years and they finally showed up...for 3 Q's. Until they ran of gas they
gave Mount everything they could handle. It wasn't the best played game, with maybe a total of 8 or 10 turnovers, but it was a great game to watch. Better yet, it was the challenge
I was hoping Mount would get and Mount was more than up to it.
When you consider Cap started the game inside the 30 and instead of coming away with some score they had negative yards, Mount's defense showed up when they had to. The two with the wind bombs to Garcon were  beauts and the TD run by Ibeh was a back breaker.

I don't know what is worse...

Listening to ONU throw this game away or listening to the ONU broadcasting team search for every cliche in the game of football.  I am sure it is bugging me more because of the circumstances but hearing every incomplete pass called as "almost caught", every passing play on both sides of the ball described as "having time to throw" followed directly by statements like "feeling lots of pressure" or "running for his life".  They've done it all season but I am getting tired of hearing it more now because of the circumstances.  PS.  If a pass is intercepted you throw the listening audience off when you say the pass is caught (pause) by (defender's name).  That's an INT fellas.

The Bears have completely deflated in the second half.

Congrats to the Streaks.  I never would have expected this game to have turned out the way it has.  It's not that JCU won, but how they won today.  The D has been flat all day.  Trusnik is an important player but losing him should be no excuse for the way they played today.
