I'd volunteer to pay for Erin Andrews to do the game.

I have actually attended a college football game (N.C. State vs. USF, no interest in the winner) before simply due to the fact that I knew she would be on the sidelines.

You want to talk about "talent," she could give some of hers to Pammy and still have plenty left over.
They should have practiced harder.

Anybody know for sure who the guy in the green coat and NCAA hat on was on the sidelines. He came to congratulate Nate when he broke the rushing record. He's in a lot of the pictures of Nate after he broke the record.

b] but I can honestly see Mount scoring into the 50's.[/b]

I have a $50 bill that says they won't.  Mount may win afterall they are damned good football team.  But they will not score in the 50's against our defense.

Are you up for putting your money where your mouth is? I await your response.

...If WW's O-line is bigger/better than Wheaton's, and can give their QB time to throw, and holes run through, it's going to be a very tough, long, nail-biting day...

Who remembers the SJU Stagg Bowl from a few years ago? What was said after that game...in regards to why MUC lost....anyone...anyone...Bueller.....anyone?

I remember.  The SJU lines were SMALLER and MORE ATHLETIC than Mount's which led to total domination by SJU.

Since online gambling is illegal on this site...I will say no...but I will think of something else...don't worry.

In the meantime...in your OPINION will Mount score 20 this weekend....30? what are YOUR thoughts...your predictions???

Betting that Whitewater doesn't score 50 might be a better bet. Mount won't score more than 50 unless ww has more than 40.

Last time someone put 50 on Mount in a regular 4 quarter game was what decade again?

After watching Mount's secondary against Wheaton on Saturday, I cannot see how ANYONE thinks this game will be a blow-out.  Just about the only time Wheaton's QB didn't complete passes was when...
A.  His receivers DROPPED THEM
B.  He was getting DRILLED by Mount

and sometimes despite B. happening...

All this talk about Mascots...

At least you have one.  Cap doesn't have squat.  I always though Cap should go for a purple version of Mich. St.'s "Sparty."

now that would be cool...

Pam Ward, in the words of Charles Barkley..."turrrible."  Can't believe I will be subject to that again.  Might have to mute the tv and listen to the radio, but I don't have TiVo to do the synch up thing.  Dealing with the lag might be better than listening to Pam.

Who's on Color?  It would be cool to get Spielman.  Hasn't he done it before?  Has to be someone on color strong enough to correct her and not just agree with her for the "sake of the broadcast."

How about if Mount puts 50 on WWW then you put an MUC logo under your D3 screenname for all of 2009.  If WWW puts 50 on Mount then I'll put a WWW logo under my screename for '09?

You remind me of the guy who came up to my tailgate last year and announced, "we are going to beat you by 35 points today."  I said in response, "why do you think that, you haven't beaten us by 35 points yet?"  He responded, "because this is the best team Larry's ever had."  Don't get me wrong, I love the over-confidence.  Sure worked for the Warhawks last year.  ;D

And BTW, SJU's smaller and athletic players didn't work so well against the Hawks in the last 3 meetings.

Seriously, I expect a very hard fought battle.  I never expected the young Warhawks to make it all the way back to the Stagg after graduating 23 seniors, 17 of them starters.  So many holes to fill and talent to replace but here they are, defending their crown.  I think they have earned the right to, at least, have their opponents fans respect their ability to make a game of it.

Oh, and one more thing, 50 points against the UWW defense...............well, I am thinking that someone has just not been paying attention! ;)

If that "link" works, that is the guy in question.  I would like the answer as well.  I think he is the guy that gave Nate the ball; after Kmic had, as usual, handed the ball to an official.  A picture of him, or someone, actually handing the ball to Nate would be nearly priceless.

Hscoach or Pat Coleman will have the answer, find the answer and provide a picture of that historic hand-off.

Thanks,

Pete

I respect WWW...the school...the program...the players and the fans.  Mount actually lost more starting players than WWW from last year's squad but who really cares at this point in the season.

Speaking about "not paying attention" ...anyone reading my post needs to understand that it has little or nothing to do with WWW.  It's about Mount and some unfinished business...regardless of the opponent.  WWW is the defending champions...and they need to defend their title.  I'm saying that I BELIEVE:

Mount has an emotional edge
Mount has significant playmakers
Mount is focused on the job at hand
Mount has significant leadership from their seniors

In no way do those comments disrespect Whitewater...so I don't understand your post.  I believe Mount is more dimensional this year and will score points.  In MY MIND only...I could see Mount scoring 50 this weekend.  They may only score 20...NONE of us know do we?  I'm just saying it could happen.  Sorry if that offends someone on this board.  Maybe if you stick to your own post patterns page you'll be less upset and can bask in your own propaganda for a few more days.

BTW...Mount is not SJU....and you better hope they're not Stevens Point.

BTW...whoever said that about last year's MUC team knows nothing of MUC football.
