Mr. YPSI   Didn't you pick Michigan to win the big ten?

Often, yes.  But NOT this year - I'm a loyal Wolverine, but not TOTALLY senile! ;)

Forget the coveralls and bring your rain gear for Saturday. 50 and "some" showers.
Lord, like last year?  Here in Va. it says that Sat. it's going to be fairly clear.  I don't want another weather day like like year!!!!  See you and Kevin Sat!!

Congrats to Greg Micheli on winning the Gagliardi Award. Truly deserving. Now how do we get the Keheres Award? On another note a long time favorite of the OAC board - specifically Mount fans - has given Nate Kmic his due. That's right sports fans...........Gregg Easterbrook!!! He did not even accuse Mount of padding Nate's stats!!! Maybe this was already mentioned but - oh well Nate deserves having it mentioned daily so here it is fresh off ESPN Page2:

Double Bonus Obscure College Score: Mount Union 45, Wheaton of Illinois 24 (Division III semifinal). Mount Union's Nate Kmic became the all-time NCAA leading rusher at 7,986 career yards, surpassing -- surely you know! -- Danny Woodhead. Woodhead, who played for Chadron State, broke the record previously held by -- surely you know! -- R.J. Bowers. Woodhead went undrafted, had a tryout with the Jets and was waived. Bowers, who played for Grove City College, spent a year on the Steelers' practice squad, then carried seven times for Pittsburgh in a late-season game. Kmic has one more appearance, next weekend's Division III championship versus Wisconsin-Whitewater, in which to extend his record. The Division III championship is called -- surely you know! -- the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. Not to be confused with Wheaton College of Massachusetts, Wheaton College of Illinois, located in Wheaton, Ill., held its annual Christmas Festival three weeks before Christmas.

Yes a little sarcastic in places........but way more than I have found from Sports Center! The pic of Nate next to the column has "Advice to defenders: You might as well get out of Nate Kmic's way". Anyone think UWW will follow the advice? Go Raiders!!!

kind of like last year how Mount Union defenders got out of the way of Justin Beaver! I applogize for the cheap shot...I couldn't resist  ;) Just trying to have some fun.

As I posted on the WIAC board, someone at MUC forgot to tell that to Daryl Ely!!!   ;)   Beaver knocked him on his tushy pretty good at the end of that long run in the 2nd quarter!!

Congrats to Greg Micheli on winning the Gagliardi Award.  Looking forward to hearing his speech tomorrow evening at the award ceremony!!  What an honor as it is more than just about football!  Baking the brownies for both teams even as I write.  Actually the oven is baking them, but that's technical.  The meatballs are swimming in the hot tub for the Stone Station tailgate to which I hope those of you who are coming will stop by and swap stories.  I know the Skunks are coming, 70's and Kevin are due in as well.  Sorry to hear that Theaprof has family concerns.  But sure hope to meet others of you all this weekend.  I arrive sometime tomorrow, depending on when I hit the hay this am.  Safe travels!!!  It's STAGG Bowl time again and the ODAC is hosting.  I can't wait!!!!!

That sounds better than last year, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but maybe it's a good thing the game is starting at 11  :o.  Hopefully, everybody will be able to stay dry for most of the game  :-\.
They should have practiced harder.

Sorry for the messed up quote on my last post.  I hope HURFMUC won't make a copy to show others my mistake. I was not trying to steal his fame.

now that I'm sober I think I finally learned how to do this.

WOW!   I thought this day would never come.

I'm...<sniff>.....so proud......<sob>......of you!

Yuck.  I just threw up my breakfast.

Had the mental picture of Olinemon in a hottub with meatballs.....

I think counseling is needed.  QUICK.

Kirasdad,

Are you driving up to the Stagg Bowl?

I am "riding" up with Small but Slow, his son, my son, and a prospective-future Purple Raider.  I don't know if SbS will let me drive his car or not.  :)

Darn, I was going to see if I could catch a ride up with you. Sounds like you have a packed car. ESPN HD it is.

Safe travels to all who are lucky enough to be traveling today. or in daylight tomorrow. I have school stuff till 9:30 Friday night.

Sorry if I was more off the wall than usual yesterday, I went home sick yesterday at noon and slept till this morning.  Not taking any chances.

The only thing that still concerns me is that WW's new coach is obviously good, but then few people have topped Larry two times in a row. Pretty sure Larry has been keeping an eye on Whitewater all year.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

SbS has one of those Chevy HHRs, but I don't think it has a third row.
