So does all this mean that BW's new D-Coord once coached Lebron James?  I'm sure that will be big for the Yellow Jackets.

OK, it's time to get this conversation started.  If Lebron were to attend BW and play Tight End, could he lead the pile to the OAC championship?  Sort of like the "Ditka vs. the World" skits from Saturday Night Live........."I'll take Ditka"

Given the low scoring games Mount has had against BW in the past 15 years, I'm glad they have a new D-coordinator.

Yep... this guy sounds like he could be a good defensive coordinator...for a year or two (before he finds his next gig).

I'll take LeBron.  ;)

I once saw Lebron James actually perform in a football uniform once. He was a man amongst boys at that time also. They could have thrown jump passes to him all night and the D would only have been able to tackle him afterwards. Instead he mainly just blocked for others. Hows that for imaginative coaching? ::)  His Senior year he stood and watched from the sidelines.......I imagine, dying to get in and do his thing....but by then he was "The Chosen One" and dared not make contact with anyone or anything! He might have been the best tight end that never played a game that year. Pity!

Why no news about MUCs recruits? Oh well. at least none of them have court dates like some other Ohio college players. Jimmy T. is gonna have to lock some of these guys down to control em.

I remember watching a teammate's high school film from his senior year.  They played StV and on one play (which I absolutely loved) Loius Irizarry caught a pass and ran over LBJ. Amazing to watch.

Or he could have been what Micheal Jordan was to pro baseball. A curiosity.

No doubt he could jump.

I know it's hypothetical but comparing a man amongst men playing high school football competitively versus a guy who stopped playing the game as a 12 year old and wanting to compete against professionals is two very different things.

I'd venture to say Lebron at SVSM in a football uniform would have been exponentially more successful than MJ as a Chicago White Sock or Birmingham Baron.

Any intel on MUC's RB recruits?

Until school's out, you'll have more luck on JJHuddle and Preps than here.  We mostly live by the fact that they are  not a recruit till Mom and Dad pay the deposit and they showup and pull on the pads. Till then we can only amuse ourself with newspaper articles that claim that so and so has signed to play football at Mount Union or Ohio Northern. I know a quick little linebacker that's going to Muskingum, but he's not sure he wants to play for their "sucky" football team. His word not mine ;D.

BTW, I haven't mailed Garcon cards yet, send me a message before Monday if you want one. The cost is not smiting me till fall. :P

Thankfully no one was hurt on Mount's baseball team as the bus caught fire in northern Florida...wkyc.com has a short story on the incident.

The Raiders finished 6-4 in 1984.  Another year over .500 - BW would find it reason to brag. ;)

(The last time Mount finished below .500 was 1978, several years before LK took over.)
12-0 = 13

Not a problem, just thought I would mention it before Pat did.  Thanks for the info.

Good thing is, it's March. It's easy to beat me to something on the football boards. :)

It has been almost 3 months since Mount clinched title number X and yet "THE" premier D3 football site still has the raissed Warhawk helmet. A change is in order!!! Thanks Pat.

I've had this on my artist's to-do list for more than a month. I'm not the guy who does them, otherwise they would be done.
