From foxsports.com on Training camp battles for the top 10 Super Bowl contenders (in their opinion):

8. Super Bowl contender: Indianapolis Colts

Position: No. 3 wide receiver. Marvin Harrison's no longer a Colt, moving Anthony Gonzalez up on the depth chart from No. 3 to No. 2. Who will be that No. 3 guy in the "Kings" set that both Gonzalez and Brandon Stokley before him have manned so well for so many years?

Front runner: Pierre Garcon. The second-year man out of Division III powerhouse Mount Union totaled only four catches for 23 yards last season, but folks in Indy are excited about his upside. Yes, his name is Pierre Garcon. No, he is not a French painter. He actually could end up being a tremendous fantasy sleeper in '09.

Contender: Roy Hall. Hall caught only one ball in '08, but the Colts staff likes his potential, too. An Ohio State man like Gonzalez, he's got more big-game experience than Garcon.

Long shot: Austin Collie. And then there's Collie, a do-everything kind of guy out of BYU. A rookie fourth-round pick, Collie's 6-2 with solid hands. With a solid camp, he could be on the field in that slot receiver position come opening day.

More big game experience than Garcon?  How many playoff games did Hall play in and how many national championship games?  It may not have been in front of 80K+ but Garcon has played in more big games than most D-I players just due to the nature of the division and the school he attended.

Wow, more big game experience than Garcon??? Hello

Anybody watch Pierre on kickoff coverage last year. NOBODY plays harder than he does

+ K to all just because it's friday and there's football's in the air
(and I don't have to be at Cross Country practice all morning anymore) It's actually a fairly boring sport to coach, you either can or you can't

I didnt see this posted here, but NFL Draft Blitz had Cecil Shorts on there program earlier this month.  Fast forward to about the 43 min mark for the approx 10 min interview.  pretty cool little interview
Topics discussed:
- Ohio vs. FL, CA, TX football
- Shorts athletic genes
- track vs. football in college
- desire to prove he "doesn't belong at the D3 level"
- relationship with Pierre
- off-season improvement, and areas of needed improvement
- MUC repeat in 2009?
- Wildcat possibilities at MUC? NFL?
- Leaving school early to train or staying and running track at MUC?

hope it wasnt posted yet

Sweet.  Thanks for the link.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Something else they don't mention is when Pierre is on the field the running game is going to get a boost because he really seems to enjoy popping D-backs down field. Either to free up an undeneath receiver or a RB that has gotten beyond the line of scrimmage. It was fun to watch him get in peoples' "way" or escort Nate down field. That should be a nice plus for time on the field too.  ;)

JK, was this your wedding?

JK Wedding Entrance Dance

Ummm... no.

First, my wife would have killed me.
Second, I was an offensive lineman... I have no "dance" in me.  ;D

Excellent point.  I'd imagine every team is looking eagerly for receivers who actually relish blocking downfield!  There are far too few of them.

CW's rants seem more effective than one my HS coaches who played at Northwestern during their legendary losing streaks.

They broke one of those long losing streaks against NIU when my Dad coached there.  Tore down the goal posts, carried them out of the stadium and dumped them in Lake Michigan.

Yep.  On the ESPN Sportscentury show about the streak my former coach can be seen celebrating on the sideline with Coach Dennis Green.  He left coaching to become a concert security man for bands shaking drug addiction and is now head of security for Dave Matthews the last time I heard.  He was a good coach but apparently a more forbidding bodyguard.

Pierre played in three national championship games and around 15 playoff games, several with an injured hand and was utilized as either a decoy or downfield blocker.  Can't help but believ he's more than ready to step in as a third receiver in the NFL.

From Scout.com: Coach Caldwelll about Garcon.

"You can really see him starting to run and not just react. He's become somewhat of a force. Now, he hasn't arrived yet, let's not get ahead of ourselves. But he has made good progress," Caldwell said. "Around here we've had a pretty high level in terms of what we expect in standards for those guys that play that position. We've had some really fine ones over the years, but he looks like he's headed in the right direction."

If your starting to think about Sept 5th, East Rochester NY is approx 300 miles and around a 5 hour drive. 4:00 PM kickoff makes getting home Saturday problematic for some of us, actually it makes tailgating problematic for others 8)

Ten year old 2,500 seat stadium. unlike Whitewater you may want to call ahead for this one.

Jamal Robertson had 101 yards rushing, 1 TD, 1 Fumble and 42 yards receiving in a win vs. Winnipeg yesterday:

He's also coaching in that new football league, which starts play this September.  I don't remember which team, but all four teams have Head Coaches in place with experience as an NFL head coach.  I believe Jim Fassell is another coach in this league.
