The ticket information on the St. John's site seems to be two years old.

The ticket information on the St. John Fisher website is 2 years old also ;)

Boy, I figured those guys at St John's would have more updated info being the big time program they are.  Are you playing them this year also?

Too funny. Anybody know why the game isn't till 4:00

"For the first time since 2006, there are no Mount Union quarterbacks on the preseason All-American team. Unless that quarterback is last year's receiver." by our fearless leader from the front page.

No running back or o-line either. I guess the defense is going to have to pitch a few shut outs! ;)

As speculated if Cecil Shorts III is the QB would that have changed anything on that list?

Also if Troney Shumpert has to be on the list at least he is on the second team after he was schooled in the Stagg last year. ::)

In Shumpert's defense...I don't think there's a corner in DIII that can keep up with Shorts one on one.

You are right on that one. Cecil has some speed - can't wait to see it at the next level!

First congrats to all the pre-season all americans. Second - however - are you serious!? Mounts got 78 kicker/punters that bench 1000 lbs, run 2.8 40s and have 96inch verts and not one all american in the bunch! Is it the kicking puppies thing again?
;D

The question this year is whether MUC has a quarterback that can throw it as far (and fast) as Cecil can run......

Kurt Rocco = Mike Jorris v.2.0

big kid with a big arm, from one of the best HS conferences in the state...if the Mount coaches like him, then I'm all for him at QB

Can we tolerate the drop off from 75% completetions to 73.2%?   8)

It will be interesting to see if the Urbania kid from Benedictine is as good as reported.  He was considered VERY highly by ND, OSU, et al while a junior.......I wonder what happened?  Seems like a kid that could come in and play right away.  I know.....doesn't usually happen.

Word is that Morring is the starting tailback at this point.  When seeing him at the camp, all I can say is he is one big, mean, nasty dude.  I hope he can stay healthy.  He deserves a healthy year.  Not easy to stick it out after being hurt so much.

I think I would be ok with a career 6.5 ypc RB, including 9 and 7 ypc before he was injured.  I could see TM starting out at HB and then moving to more of a FB position later on in the year

Just boiled my last youth football mouthpiece for Raider2017 and hooked it to his brand new metallic green Riddell. The wait is over. Conditioning in the mud tonight . God have football helmets changed since the late 60's.

I saw the kid play.  IMO he is a D1 back.  I think he will be an exception to the rule.  He wont make people forget NK but I think he will soften the blow of his loss.
