 Looks like Louisville reloaded
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Swigert is as good as advertised.  Very impressed by the Leps so far.

Danny Woodhead (Chadron St.), who held the all-division career rushing record before Nate surpassed him last year, has already run for 149 yards for the Jets against Philly in three quarters tonight.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Downtown Alliance may be the biggest hole in America (sorry Purple) I couldn't say eat and downtown Alliance in the same sentence. (maybe a bag of chips at the Roma Society)
seventies,
Sad to say, no one can ever accuse you of hyperbole for that statement.  :P

I'm feeling guilty for my last comment.  :-\
There are some very nice areas south of downtown around old Mount Union (once a separate town) and further south, but downtown Alliance hasn't looked decent since long before most on this board were born.

Frickers sucks.  The last time I was in there (in Springfield, mind you)... I had to punch some hillbilly in the nose because he said something about my girlfriends tits being "edible"..

You're just mad because your girlfriend's name is Ralph.  I'd be mad too.  And Ralph does have nice cans so deal with it.

I don't know.  I can say (although it disappoints me) that the Wilson Factory is a bit of an enigma in Ada.  I barely knew where it was and certainly never stepped foot inside.  If you didn't know it was there, you truly wouldn't know it's there.

Trusnik had another solid game.  4 tackles and another sack (same as last week against the Giants).  He's having a real solid preseason for the Jets.

Saw an interesting stat on ESPN about Boise St and their home record since 1999.  They're 66-2 for a .970 winning percentage.  I instantly thought that finally a Division I team would have a shot at having a better WP at something than MUC because I recalled the ONU and UMHB losses at home.  I went to Ric's site and looked it up.

Since 1999, MUC has gone 81-3 at home for a WP of .964.  So yes Boise St. has a better WP over that same time frame at home but MUC hosted 17 more home games thanks to so many playoff matchups.  That's amazing.  Of course, Boise's two losses were regular season contests and if we wanted to go there, MUC wins in a landslide as we'd have to go back to 1994 when I was in diapers.

I guess this one goes either way on who gets the edge but it's amazing that every time we see a D-I stat about dominance, you guys in purple can just smile ever so slightly and think, "That's nice.  But wait 'til you hear what WE did."

WTF?  Thanks dude.  I know you are exaggerating a bit, but you just made me feel old.  :-\

I was playing against MUC in 1994 (and losing, badly).

You guys might like this sequence from last night's JV game (we don't have a varsity until next season).

Opening Kickoff returned for TD.
Ensuing Kickoff returned for TD.
Following Kickoff returned to our 40, score shortly thereafter.
Next Kickoff returned for TD.

14-13 after 1:25 of actual play.

Just how the coaches drew it up.

MUC could have been 84-0 at home since 1999 if LK would have installed PURPLE Turf!

Mount also went 50-0 on the road in that same time span....wonder what Boise St's road record was?
