I see absolutely nothing from OSU QB that would even hint he could be a great QB or leader ....doesn't  seem to recognize defenses, makes poor choices, fundamentally weak,  throws a floater, and appears to get down, mope, and try to make plays that are not there......

As my Pappy used to say, "I don't think Tyrell is the sharpest knife in the drawer"

Best of luck to  Toledo coaches Matt Campbell and Jason Candle. Don't look past Ohio State  ;D

Yer Pappy was right:

"Not everybody is the perfect person in the world," Pryor said of Vick. "Everyone does - kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me. I just feel that people need to give him a chance."

Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Time for the sweater vest era to come to a close at OSU.  Remember Pryer is only as good as he has been instructed and drilled.   He showed neither.   I know lets give the vest another 3 mill, thats the ticket.

My prediction for OSU and the rest of the season:

Squeak one out vs. Toledo in Cleveland.
Win out vs. the Big Ten and New Mexico State.
Beat UM again.
Make it to a BCS Bowl.
Get stomped by a SEC or PAC 10 team in the Bowl Game.
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

Kirasdad,

I agree with your prediction, but at this point I am uneasy about beating
PSU at Happy Valley. Although Craig Krenzel was not the best athlete, he had a sense of leadership and making the right choices to lead OSU in 2002. Not sure if Tressel can take the Buckeyes past the Big Ten anymore.

Those traits that Krenzel had were the same in Micheli, only Greg was a great athlete to boot!!!!!!!!

I see some of those early characteristics in Neal Seaman, once he has a chance to mature in the LK system.

Could Toledo beat OSU through the Kehres Connection? Toledo is scoring big points and that is where "Larry's kids" are all coaching.

Could easily happen.  OSU may struggle due to a let down and Holy Toledo, stranger things have happened!

For the last 10 years+, I've been wondering what the OSU offense would look like if LK had control of it.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Speaking of Toledo, a great win against Colorado Friday night at you know.  However, one aspect that, IMO, was really disappointing and perhaps puzzling, is that they couldn't even fill their Glass Bowl home stadium for this game.  What goes?   While Colorado is having some down years, still that is a big win for a team like Toledo (although they've beaten Big Ten teams in the past).  Just curious as to you Ohio guys thoughts on this.

First off, its a MAC game. They don't normally draw a lot anyways. I figured there would have been more because it was on ESPN.  Also, Friday night in Ohio is all about HS football.

I have no clue, but hey...I tried

Pryor and Tressel lost that game last night. He didn't make many plays at all and his biggest play was the INT that set up the USC TD.

Tressel is extremely annoying.  He coaches like he is in the NFL. Field position and special teams. Give me a break. First off, how many times did USC run the SAME Qb sneak on 4th and 1? Tressel is too much of a p*s to do anything semi-risky.  Until he decides to enter the 21st century with his schemes, they Bucks will continue to lose big games. I'm glad Rich Rod is in the Big Ten now, might wakeup the Bucks to run some new things.

In my opinion, Tressel needs the boot.  3 straight Big Ten titles or not, he can't win a big game. Remember, he won the Natl Title with Cooper's recruits. Ok, I think I'm done.

As my Pappy used to say, "I don't think Tyrell is the sharpest knife in the drawer"

Who was this guy named "Tyrell" your Pappy was talking about?

Everyone should just calm down on the OSU talk.

I just get annoyed that even D3football.com has so many "experts" on Buckeyes football.  He won with Cooper's guys using his schemes.  He's been in how many top tier BCS games?  And Cooper was in how many?  People moan and groan about Cooper's inability to beat UM.  Tressel manages to own UM and they find ways to moan and groan about Tressel's inability to win a BCS game.  It just amazes me how the OSU experts all find something to be upset about and nothing ever satisfies.  Cooper goes 2-10-1 against UM and 3-9 in bowls and wins 3 conference titles in 13 seasons.  Tressel goes 7-1 in 8 years against UM, wins 5 conference titles, the first national championship in 32 years and is playing in bigger bowl games year after year (5-3 record in those bowls by the way) and yet "the sweater vest must go."

Just be glad you've got your Raiders and forget about the boys in the Shoe.
