The JV game at WJ a couple weeks back was pretty good...gotta be better than watching the Brownies...

I think WJ will bring attitude and effort to Mount.  The last scrimmages have been very spirited....

I would love to see Sirianni at BW....or JCU...

raiderpa

oh darn the JV game is at WJ...

I'd kinda like to see B.J. Payne at JCU, but I have hidden agendas
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Here is my first post with the stupid freakin bird in it...

Watched the video of the TD pass that won the game for the otters, made me sick the first time I saw it and made me want to break my computer the second time.

SERIOUSLY, HOW DO YOU LET THAT HAPPEN????

No offense to Brad Pickens, who is our best corner, but how do you get beat like that on 4th and the game???

OldOtter,

The WR you are referring to is Josh Chichester.  He originally committed to OSU but had some kind of run in with the law right before they were supposed to report, so Tressel recinded his scholly.  He is indeed now at U of L (I work near Louisville now, so I get to hear all about the Cards on the Radio in the morning) although he has been a huge disappointment for them.  Hasn't nearly lived up to his potential.

I wasn't sure if you were gonna post this month. It's nice to see a fellow Card on the forum. And that corner that got beat on 4th and 10 wasn't Pickens, it was Stimmel. I went to high school with him. He had a good game up until that last drive. Gave up another long pass play earlier in the drive.  And i'm glad you reminded me it was Chichester. IT was starting to bother me that I couldn't think of his name.

I'll enjoy seeing every one of your post over the next 27 days. And yes, I'll be making sure you complete your entire sentence  ;D

JK

I meant Stimmel...sorry.  Thanks for the correction.  21, not 28.  Seriously, though...HOW???  I feel bad for the kid, I do, but AAAAAAARRRRGH!!!!!!!!  It looked in the video like he kinda slipped and fell and couldn't make a real play on the ball.

There may be a bird in my profile, but I will never be an Otter fan...  :P

The further MUCification of the OAC could only lead to more balance, I think.

You could you seriously put together a 10 tea league with all Purple Raiders as head coaches?

Who would they be?  Kehres, Dean Paul, Mike Hallet, Don Montogmery, Nick Sirianni are no brainers in my opinion.  Who else? Vince Kehres? Jason Hall? Bob Frye? Matt Campbell?

^^^JK, glad to see that you've reconciled the loss and moved on...... ;D

By the way, that JV game between MUC and Harmony had one of the most unusual beginnings of any game I've ever been to:

Harmony kicks off to MUC.....returned for touchdown.

MUC kicks off to Harmony....returned for touchdown.

7-7, with about 20 seconds gone on the clock.

That 2006 Cincinnati Harmony team was nassssssty. A bunch of D-1 guys that didn't qualify. They destroyed the OC jv that year. Not sure where he ended up going but they had a 6'5'' WR out of Lakota West who was supposed to go to Louisville

Mike Sirianni is the HC at W&J.  Nick Sirianni is the Offensive Quality Control Coach for the KC Chiefs.  Campbell would be a good choice.  The OC at UWW is a former HC and he could come back to Ohio.  What about Mike Elder?

I would throw Jason Candle out there too.  I doubt he would get a job like BW, but with his pedigree and reputation for recruiting I would think one of the bottom half schools would give him a shot.
