don't forget to post your picks.

HScoach,

Just noticed you had hit the 2,000 post level. Congrats! ;D

Great.  It's official that I have no life.

For me it's not so much the number of posts that represents "not having a life", it is the total time spent on-line in the D3boards.

HScoach, you've only spent 20 days, 13 hours and 16 minutes of you life thus far posting, lurking on the D3 boards.   :P  Not bad compared to Mr. Ypsi's 176 days, 11 hours and 39 minutes.   :o
Wheaton Football: CCIW Champs: 1950, 1953-1959, 1995, 2000, 2002-2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2019

Finished our last youth evening practice under car headlights last night. Hard to remember watching Mount practices and running home for evening youth  practices in shorts and t's.

Time to get serious about D3 football. Sunday will be a year since my surgery and I can finally walk like a normal post middle aged person. time to get back to my haunt on the south wall at Hartshorn Field. S/b on "the Heights" at St. Shula's tomorrow.

Mugsy, you must sit at work and read these boards (Middle School teacher ?  ;) ). I've got ten times as many posts but only plus 3 days. Hell 33 days is bad enough

Most of that has been used by Ypsi's trying to figure out a way to debate JT successfully on the Political Boards --- I kid, I kid..   ;)

Nah - that was just toyin' with a little mouse! ;)

But I put in my four decades as a wage slave.  Retirement means I can spend all day on d3 if I want - and some days I want! :D

A whole lotta pride on the line in Wilmington tomorrow. No mercy Mike

Ypsi-Yep, I'm looking down the street for the mail lady to bring that first retirement check  :-*

JK-At least it's not a Wilmington logo, and what BTW does their logo have to do with Quakers

Nah, software developer and project manager.  In between software compiles I peruse here and there to get the pulse of what's going on, plus the advantage of having 3 flat screen monitors (one reserved for D3Football - hence the hours to post ratio).   :)

Retired computer teacher. No one ever questioned why I was on the computer.

reality check

What logo are you referring to seventies?  The Quakers have a block W with the word "Quakers" running through on their helmets.  Are you talking about the old Patriot-esque logo?  That was replaced 6 years ago.

you mean there's actually hope that I am going to be able to walk without limping at some point?  It seems like it's never going to happen, but then I'm not known for my patience!!  Good luck to Kevin in his games!! How is he doing?  I know how MUC is doing!  Same old, Same old!!  I can almost taste those buck-eyes now!! ;) ;)
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

There is no way the committee EVER puts three teams from one conference in the playoffs...it is more politically correct to give what could have been a third bid to someone else and spread the playoff wealth...

It hasn't happened in all of two years, when three Empire 8 teams made the playoffs.

Yeah, but we only played two of them that year (St John Fisher and Ithaca) so it was harder to remember.  Hartwick never got their chance at a run at MUC after losing to Curry the same day Mount beat Ithaca.

Besides, that year never happened for Mount Union.  It's been stricken from the record books because they didn't with the championship.   ;)

Yeah, but Pat! You should know that on the MUC, oh I mean, OAC board, it's VERY hard to remember something that doesn't involve MUC. And it flat out never happened if it meant MUC didn't win it all. I wonder if 2009 will happen or not. I guess we'll find out....

Where is a good place to drink and eat after the game?

I'd recommend Pizzazz, which is right on North Park near JCU's main entrance.

http://www.pizzazzpizza.com/otc/index.html

Beyond that, there are a number of other places near campus, but it depends on how far you're willing to drive.
[/quote]

Pizzazz is basically right on campus, but I much prefer Brennan's Colony, 2 miles away at Silsby and Lee.  Great food (and everything from reasonable bar food to high quality full meals on the specials menu, all of it excellent) and a nice neighborhood bar atmosphere.

Man, I feel more at home now-- 30 years ago we had a euphemism for The Colony in my tee-totalling family home on Coleridge Rd in Cleve Heights: "The Hamburger Place."  (As in, "Do you want to go to the hamburger place?") It will be good to breathe the CH/UH air again visiting JCU tomorrow.  I love that place!

Late entry into Quoting 101 carries a hefty surcharge.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Its all good, Mr Ypsi.. I like the way you argue, even if the message is not the one I agree with.
