I played in that game. I'm pretty sure Pierre got thrown out before halftime.

LOL, yeah, think so. Most refs usually do catch retaliations!............. go figure.

BTW, did Rafferty hang it up then or is he still there? Knew he was injured but didn't know if he was planning to return or not this season?

Nope. Actually, there are a couple guys on the current team that are older than I am

Rafferty had surgery a few weeks ago. He's got a couple pins in his finger. Messed it up pretty bad. I think he finally hung em up. Who knows though, he might have been able to get a medical redshirt for this season!! hahahhaa, I would die if he tried to come back again next year. Hell, I didn't think he was going to come back for this season. Never know! Ancona from Capital graduated HS in 2003 and he's still playing!

Speaking of Captial, I did run into Pentello at the OC/Cap game. Hadn't talked to him in a while. He said he's still playing overseas.

OUCH! didnt know he messed it up that bad! One tough QB though!

Since talking about QB's, GEEEZ  Peyton just had Pierre wide open in the end zone for a two point conversion and throws it way over his head!
I think Micheli would make a terrific back up to Peyton in those situations there at Indy! ;D ;D ;D

......wonder what spreads might have been if OTT would have won easily.

If the QB wouldn't have gotten hurt and they wn by 20+ like they should have, the spread probably would have been around 21 to 24.

I just have a sneaking feeling theat LK and company have something special in store for Otterbein.  The Cardinals have been one team over the years that LK likes to drill into the ground.  Not sure what the issue is with Joe Loth, but there is something there.

Could it be all the holding of Pierre 3 yrs ago at Ott with no calls? Also the chorus line charade at the start last year's game didnt help to keep them on the Christmas card list i'm sure. Who knows, but Likewise the Cards will have every incentive to do what they can to salvage their season in next week's game. GO RAIDERS!!

mtfan,

I agree with the posts on what Coach Kehres may be thinking about the
the upcoming game with OTT. He almost always has good things to say about the opposing coach. Not so much this week, it will not be pretty ugly for OTT with or without the starting QB. He has to be pleased with KR's leadership and consistency.

Speaking of pretty ugly...

The Cleveland Browns' leading tackler today was none other than ONU's own Jason Trusnik.  There's no doubt he is seeing more time on defense in Cleveland than he was with the Jets.  Of course that's because Cleveland is 1.) virtually a division III football team as it pertains to overall talent and 2.) always playing defense.

Good for him.  He'll be on London's heels in career tackles in no time.

Hope Jason continues to do well! Unfortunately the Browns need to regroup as does JCU and B-W. Boy the North Coast is a tough place to have a winning program.

Missed the Colts today, were they on TV in Northeast Ohio?
