Old Otter-

The people voicing opinoins on this board don't have a personal problem with Otterbein.. They just feel ONU would be a better representative of the OAC.  Its not personal..

My wife is from Westerville. I'm there as often as I'm in Alliance, but I do see the argument for ONU. But I understand feeling beating them make you a better team
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Haha, I don't take things personally. Wouldn't have lasted playing QB as long as I did if I would have. It's all in fun. I know Mount fans love their teams just like the pockets of fans from other school in here love theirs. Just so happens I'm the only OC guy. When I got to OC the school had only had a handful of winning seasons in the last 50 years. My class started to see some success and Loth and the staff used that success to help with recruiting and build up the program. He really has something going in Westerville and hopefully it stays that way for years to come. These last two seasons have been fun to watch even though I'm no longer on the field. To be honest, I'll be more than happy if the OAC can send two teams to the playoffs, regardless of who they are. Obviously, I want that second team to be OC but we'll have to see. Looking forward to a good game up north this weekend. The guys are going to come ready to play regardless of who's under center. I know Mount will do the same. Should be fun!!

OC by 30+ (hahahaha)

Well, if Otterbein can beat Mount Union this weekend, they can end this debate.  However unlikely that outcome may be, that's what I'm rooting for, because I think that would give the OAC an almost certain Pool C bid.  Dare the committee to leave out a 9-1 Raiders squad. ;D

If, let's just say, I noticed pigs flying outside my office this afternoon and some how MUC was to lose their next two games, would they get a Pool C bid at 8-2 over an 8-2 ONU team?!?! Man, this message board would blow up!!!

Mount has only lost 4 games since 2000, or less than 2 quarters of a game (24 minutes) a year for the last 10 years! This board should have blown up over that!

That won't cause this board to blow up. It will just cause it to be filled with Raiders fans, some of whom  feel they are "entitled" to talk big and act like they have the last word on all matters OAC or MUC . I'm thankful for the supporters of the other schools daring to give their opinion. The fact is that MUC could lose and will lose to Ott before pigs fly. And when it happens, I think the Ott fans are more than "entitled" to use caps and bold and real big font in crowing about their victory!

Can you change your handle when you're in here so that other posters know you're not a self-loathing MUC'er?  It could be confusing for new posters.  Thanks.

Of course it will happen, heck its happened twice in my lifetime (61 years). Four times in all and twice as many times as JCU

And pigs flying has happened more often.  Those cute little pot-bellied pigs have been on airliners a number of times! :D

Not like those UWW fans at all right?  They don't OWN the WIAC board or anything...  ;)

GREAT RESPONSE!
VERY TRUE! And I know I wish more schools would have followers posting! I know MUC guys would love to banter with other school fans, too. We have a Stout guy and a River Falls guy and  Point guy. But both boards are definitely purple heavy! Actually was posting as a light hearted jab and an encouragement for Ott fans and others to hang in there with the board until a breakthrough happens. Do nursing homes have internet?? Heaven??  :)

I don't know man, I didn't even know there WAS such a thing as a self-loathing MUCer! And for the record, I don't loathe MUC at all. I like to poke fun, but i'd rather do it with MUC than a team UWW just beat by 4 TD or something. that would seem jerky to me. Always worrying about what people think of me....   ;)

Wow, lost 2 k because I said Ott would beat MUC before pigs fly? c'mon guys, I'm going to get the feeling you don't like me!

UWW ROCKS! (self identifying enough?)

OK, the last thing you guys want or need is 4 quick posts from me, but just to let you know, I did defend the OAC on the NWC Board:

Congrats to UPS for coming up with an offense that put some points on the board and made a game out of it.  We don't need any OAC hacks that lay down for Mt. Union on cue....

Bleedpurple
That's sweet, cris! Take advantage of Cats giving up 36 points to a winless team (which more than doubled their previous high in points) to take a slap at the OAC! That's beautiful! I guess you don't have any of those (hacks). Puget would play Mount tough right?    ;D

Of course it's hard to know because the last I checked the NWC doesn't have a Mount either.

Wasn't trying to be an MUC poser, I just like to call em as I see em.  ;D

Maybe you can add a UWW picture or some sort of identifying feature to your signature line???  :)
