Everyone updates on D3 players in the NFL.
Well, a guy named Andy Studebaker? from Wheaton had his first start for the KC Chiefs in the NFL Sunday against the Steelers. Highlights. 2 INT's. One he picked in the end zone as the Steelers were going for a TD. He ran it back to the 5 yard line. Almost the same play as James Harrison's pick in the Super Bowl for a TD.

Great to see a D3 player player have success. Boo for a Pittsburgh lose.

Glad a D3 player's success helped bury that team to the East. Trusnik's brilliance was wasted.

Beenhit2hard-After your retired for a couple of months, how do you getup before noon? Finally broke that 6:30 thing. Actually I wake the kids up for school and go back to bed.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Actually, he got caught by Mendenhall on the Pitt 8-yard line - even after 94 yards, I'd have to razz him if anyone but a RB caught him!  (If he had stayed by the sideline, even Mendenhall wouldn't have caught him - damned rookie mistake! ;D)

70's Raider,
Why so bitter?  Is it because the Browns record against the Steelers since 1999's reincarnation is 3 wins and 20 loses?

Haven't been a Browns fans since the Modell's sent back the the season ticket money. Recently became a Colts fan. Grew up in Nebraska so my loyalties were always Bears and Vikings which was OK in the sixties. Bud Grant and George Hallas, couldn't beat that

If only Montclair had an offense to go with their defense.  I'm thinking MUC -21.5 is pretty safe, actually 29.5 doesn't feel too bad either.  Sorry Rams... but have fun in Canton/Alliance.  If Montclair wins... steak dinner on me Rams (Dave).

Are the coaches really saying they would start Simmons over Kurt Rocco?  Who among the OAC coaches thinks Rocco is less of a threat?  On top of that Rocco is paying his position better than anyone in the country right now, period.  Hopefully ,  the post season All-American teams will give the man his due.  Certainly anyone who has seen him play since the last drive of the first half of the Capital game knows who the best quarterback in the country is; it's Kurt Rocco.

Nice.  A Clerks reference.  Funny since you bring it up, I remember the scene now.  The one in which Dante and his girlfriend are discussing their um...pasts.

and once it dawned on me what scene you were talking about, there was no way I could watch your video link at work, btw...

Wasn't a video.  Only a text version of the scene.  I posted it at school so I wouldn't have been able to see the video either.

Maybe they are looking at the entire season?  2nd team isn't bad for a guy who shared snaps until the Capital game, don't ya think?

While I am pleased with Kurt's success for obvious reasons, I don't  think he is the best  QB in the country yet. I think that will be determined if and when he leads the Raiders to another Stagg Bowl win. In the process he may face a comparable talent at a school known as UWW should that occur. But I am way ahead of myself at this point. He did not even get the votes of his own conference just like my own pick from a few years ago......... the incomparable Mike Jorris! ;)
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Nice to see D3 being represented so well. Now if the announcers can just remember that Trusnik went to OHIO NORTHERN not "Northern Ohio"

I always thought Jorris got overlooked. But Mike has two rings he can let the 1st team OAC QB (Pentello in 06, Doug Phillips in 05) look at and maybe even polish for him. Hell Jorris did'nt even get honorable mention either year! On the Rocco issue - I just don't get it. He leads the OAC in passing yards, TDs, efficiency (leads the nation), completion percentage (69.8%), his team is 10-0...is there something else he needed? Go get your ring Kurt - and let Kyle clean for you one day.

I played against Jorris. I thought he was very underrated. Guy put up HUGE numbers and had a cannon. Should have been All-OAC each year (but I can't really complain, I snatched up one of the OAC honors in '05, granted it was HM) That year the OAC was stacked with QB's putting up big numbers.
