was just watching Sportscenter and they announced who was going to be their Fantasy Impact Player this week... non other than Pierre Garcon. Kinda pissed I dropped him off my team earlier this season. People in my league thought it was weird that I drafted both Garcon and Trusnik. Can't ever doubt the OAC!

If the Stagg Bowl is an 11:03 kickoff, why is the NCAA site counting down for a 3 o'clock kickoff, other than the obvious fact: It's the NCAA site?

Also lists the tailgate from 10-2:30? Cut and paste from 2 years ago?
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Congratulations to Mount Union...THe Raiders placed six players on the All-OAC Academic  team...this was the largest representation by any team in the conference..

Wilmington had 7 total

Wilmington had one player named 2009 Academic All-OAC the rest were honorable mention.

reality check

Interesting that Andrew Miller (HEID) is the Academic All-OAC QB with a 3.56 in Business while a 3.93 in Mechanical Engineering and a 3.83 in Education make honorable mentions for Kyle Simmons and Marty Assman respectively.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Yes; not that Miller is not deserving of the honor because I'm sure he is.  However, indeed, how do they figure/account for that?  I am not aware of the parameters (other than GPA and having to be a starter or key contributor?) that are used to determine a spot on that team.  I would have assumed that there might be some type of additional factor in there, like track or swimming, where, at least for the All-American teams (as opposed to the simply Academic AA teams) everyone who "made a certain time or level such as, for example, within the top 7-10 places) in their events was then designated a spot on those honor teams.  Very strange.  Politics wouldn't have played a part in that, now would it? ??? ::) ;) ;D

When next week doesn't happen, I'm going to be really pissed that we didn't get together night.. ;)

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Merry Christmas!

Thank you all for the kind words and prayers.  This is the greatest group.

I'm gonna miss Ric and Mark while we are traveling.  It's been years since I've missed a MUC game, either on TV, in person, or the net.  I expect the rest of you will help contain them so that they don't get killed by an unruly mob.

Now that I [FINALLY] have the ability, I hope I didn't miss anyone with Karma.  Best to you all.
