What is Keith talking about that the clock doesn't stop when a runner goes out of bounds. Did someone change the basic rules of football? Come on Keith. If it was changed, let me know where in the book, I'd like to look at it.

They changed that rule in 2008.  Play stops when the ball goes out of bounds and starts with the referee's whistle instead of the snap.  EXCEPT, in the last two minutes of a half where it starts with the snap.

Thanks for playing!  Look it up ...  Rule 3-2-5-a-12.

Just got back from the game.

1st off, congrats to Wesley on a fine effort. They are a solid football team.

In my years of following the Raiders, this is clearly one of the most impressive wins. A complete team effort as Mount does not have one of their leading defenders in Millings, a top running back in Panchik and lose their starting QB yet come up with a convincing win over the #3 team in the nation. A game like this demonstrates character and why you become champions.

A great effort by the "D", while Cecil steps up and carried the "O". This test can only better prepare them for next week

No need to look it up thanks to you. However, did the clock continue to run??? That is the question. Thank you for playing.

Shorts and the Mount defense.

I disagree with you about Wesley not playing their A game. I think Wesley played the same way all playoffs long. Their offense, while capable, was never overwehlming.

Their defense played on a short field all day long and played their hearts out. They were physical, just ask Rocco. He will remember Aaron Benson, maybe not right now, but when he watches film tomorrow, for a while.

However, Shorts and the defense were just too much for this Wesley team. Congrats on the well earned win and good luck next week.

Why is the Kurt Rocco injury being kept such a secret?
