Are you guys kidding?  Do you actually take seriously anything the AARP says??  I hope not!!!! ;D ::) :o ;)

Not since they became a radical "progressive" political organization. I just check out mag at the doctors to see what old celebrities look worse than me ::)happens.

Was quite a transition yesterday from a tall, step up in the pocket QB to a sweeping spread running QB. Looked a little more like Bruney and Burghardt at the end. As far as I'm concerned, the more times Cecil touches the ball, the more magic that can happen. I thought Shorts at QB was genius (maybe because I said at the half, don't be surprised if Cecil comes out Qb'ing). Once CS III got to the corner, those hods could only stand and watch. The U DUB DUB dub's had their problems with him last year. Give him a couple of days to getting a rhythm with is receivers

My drive from eastern shore ,Va to the game is 5 miles different than from  Alliance to the game.

We are watching our grandkids swim friday at 6,,then driving in for the game,,temp on game day 38-44  ,,partly cloudy,,or  partly sunny  ,,depends on your outlook on life !!! ;D

I would not want to be the DC for UWW this week, he will have alot to
consider!

Brian Borland is his name...I'm sure it will be business as usual this week around UWW - playing Mount always means he'll have a lot to consider. He'll have his men ready to play (hopefully a "full" 4 quarters, unlike last year!!)   ;)
I'VE REACHED THAT AGE
WHERE MY BRAIN GOES
FROM "YOU PROBABLY
SHOULDN'T SAY THAT," TO
"WHAT THE HELL, LET'S SEE
WHAT HAPPENS."

Are you asking where I live or what battles I fought in?   ;D

To paraphrase Sarah, I can see Bull Run from my house.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

I dont know that I buy the whole argument that Cecil is a wild cat QB.  Cecil can throw the ball, he just never really had to so far this season while behind center.  I think that an offensive with Vince and AJ at WR, Terrence and Lemon at RB and Cecil at QB is not a horrible option....oh yeah and that Kehres fellow is okay at calling plays too.

I personally think that Rocco will play and start on Saturday.  All of this concusion talk can not be confirmed nor denyed.  With Rocco staying on the sideline, in full equipment, and not heading over to the hospital...I dont think the situation is as bad as some people are thinking.  I was also wondering where the seizure talk was going from?  I know that Seamen went to the hospital after the Muskie game for seizures, but had never heard anything about Rocco.  If both QB's had seizures this year, somebody check the water.

Hey Gang!  First chance to post since the game.

What a weird, funky, hard-hitting, non-typical game that it was!

Mount's D stepped up in a way that was something to watch.  Other than the QB's one big run........Wesley had nothing.

Wesley's big star receiver.......not so much!  He did NOT like or want contact.

I love myopic Wesley backers (not you Gene).......#7 and #26 were engaging the crowd (not section 13 but the whole Mount crowd on that side), and doing so in a very inflammatory manner.  Are you kidding me?  Those two kids wouldn't have seen the field if they were Mount kids.  And to say that Drass wouldn't allow it.....puh lease...he was busy coaching the game.  He never looked back once.  One more thing...the people that sit on the visitors side do so because that is where the available season tickets are.  The average age of the people under the roof is approximately 74.99.

My point on Friday/yesterday was that to pick against Mount when they were playing at home, knowing their history, and knowing their coach smacks of sensationalism, and trying to be "out there".  NO....you do not have to always say Mount will win.  If you were really interested in picking a FAVORITE in the Stagg this week, then WW has to be a clear favorite.  Except for that fact that a west coast team that never played in cold gave them all they could handle.

Mount lost their best defensive player last week (the story is out there...but I will not tell it), then lost their second best offensive player early in the game, had no real offense to speak of, and yet won 24-7.  Are you kidding me?  I am not bad-mouthing Wesley (they probably had more athletes than Mount had), but if you were ever going to win a big game.......

Rocco went to LK at some point to plead his case about getting back in the game.  LK just pointed to the doctor.  Rocco went over to the doctor and pleaded his case...the doctor just shook his head....end of story.  LK never attempted to even influence that decision at all.

HSC.....Mount should be a 17 point underdog!  There are Linfield backers(as there were MHB backers), that are now saying the championship was played yesterday in Whitewater.  Yah.....let's go with that theory..... ::)

Um, S_S, you are aware, aren't you, that the temperature in McMinnville was roughly the same Saturday as it was in Whitewater?!  We're not talking about a SoCal team! :P

Pat Coleman

I would think anyone who was a Mount Union fan in 2004 would discount the typical weather for a visiting team anyway.

I refuse to believe that the 2004 game actually happened.  If you believe hard enough....it is NOT a lie.   ;)

THUMP
If Rocco doesn't get speared, they score 40+.

Classic Kehres - Whatever it takes

Thank you Wesley Special Teams for your many gifts
Oh please. Just when you get a little adversity, you cry afoul. Benson knocked his socks off as clean as two guys going in the exact opposite direction could.

Did I cry foul? Just stating what I saw from about 40 feet away and that if he had played the rest of the game I don't think it would have been as close. Oh please  ;D
You called it a spear, one of the cheapest fouls in football, right along side of a low crack back block.  Like you said in subsequent posts, you see things through purple colored glasses.

In the early days of this season many on here thought Cecil should be the QB,,will this be his day to start as QB ???

Luv the way your board dishes out karma points too. Didn't get any good karma points when I was complimenting your team during the game, but when I argue some points, wham.

I guess you guys only expect others to bow down and not question anything. Good luck next week. I hope Rocco is good to go for you. I hope that Shorts continues to play above this level. I hope that Millings is back in the lineup. I hope that Lutz wins the Gags. I hope that Kehres get Coach of the Year. I hope that Mount wins it all. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

Anyone... ;)
