Plus the prospect of post-surgery Panchik

Panchik was listed as a Senior on the MUC Roster.  He was hurt very late in the season.  Did he have another year with an injury that he can use as a case for a Hardship Waiver Application?  This past year certainly doesn't fulfill the requirements as he played too many games (I think the threshold is less than 20% of the teams games).

Lambert Budzinski and Sam Guerrero are also names that have been mentioned as having a year eligibility left.  I have no idea how reliable these rumors may be...

Looks like Budzinski spent the 2006-2007 school year at IUP and did not have any stats for them that year.  Could have been a Redshirt year or just didn't play.  He has stats at MUC for 07-08-09.

Guerrero doesn't appear to have any other college experiences (other than MUC) and has stats for 07-08-09) so he may have been hurt in 06, or may not have participated in FB that year.

reality check

Panchik has no 2006 stats.  He was a SR at Highlands (PA) HS in 2005 though.  The only wiggle room is that 2006 season.

Although it is unlikely, look at the possibility for the Raiders returning these
players:

Offense;

K. Miller - tight end
S. Guerrero- O-line
C. Shorts- WR
S. Panchik- RB

Defense:

L. Budzinski- DT

Are there any others? If only 2-3 come back, that would be great, however
C. Shorts will move on if the NFL shows interest.

Trusnic: 5 tackles, 1 assist for the Brownies as they win 3 in a row.

Garcon: Indy is resting a few key players this week, Pierre being one of them.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Garcon was listed as injured (hand)
Gonzo was put on IR so will not play at all rest of year.  Apparently tried to practice this week and was determined not ready. Apparently that magical sleeping chamber has not helped his healing process..

68   Those names that you have are the ones that I heard. The beat writer that i talked to last night told me 4 of  the 5 names you have are vary good possiblities of retuning next year.

Small but Slow

Meyer withdrew his resignation and is taking a leave of absence now to get his health and priorities in order.  He has Dan McCarney on staff with D1 hc experience already, but could always use a man with experience helping to handle some of the offensive and adminstrative duties.  Hate the thought of LK anywhere else, but he would be a logical fit.  Still can't see it happening.

Panchik is not returning....to play that is.....the rest.....probable.......

Do not think Panchik would have any eligibility left for '10!

The majority of the starters were all on the injured list, whether probable, doubtful or out. However, I'm not sure Pierre would have played regardless.

Too bad Pierre was unable to be part of an undefeated team.

I hope you know that I was just kidding.  Maybe you had too many Adult Beverages at Epcot yesterday and thought I was serious?  LOL

I hope Panchik does not return; I would like him to be able to walk when he is 60.

I was fortunate not to had an injury and I am so thankful at this point!
