No more talking about LL and him leaving unless he actually does.

I think we have been...

Come on now, kirasdad - have a sense of humor! ;D :D ;)  It is the off-season. ::)  BTW, love the illustration showing "beating a dead horse"! ;D

The problem the Mount Union marketing group is having is what all these posts are saying. It is not the Mount Union University or University of Mount Union, it is how can you abreviate it without making it look ridiculous.

I know keep it Mount Union College and MUC, but we do not get a vote!

Now let's talk OAC football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Who is coming back for the Raiders, what is the latest?

Wait a minute, Kirasdad, I thought this was what we DO in the off season...talk about how far LK could have gone, talk about how he chose to stay  :D.... I'm trying to remember some more of the perennial horse-beatings (Sorry, PETA--Am I allowed to say that?) Love the graphic, tho, and hope that HS Coach's Quoting 202 will teach me how to lift and apply it.  There's a certain regurgitating  thread, something about MUU that rivals the LL bit for overkill.  Happy freezing New Year, y'all.

I like it!  You guys haven't even APPROACHED your requisite surly quotient yet!  (Oops, there goes my karma!)

Yea, My Karma passed Kirasdad going the wrong way.

From the WIAC Board.  AJ Raebel was a LB for UWW:

I know some people here already know this, but for those who don't, passing it on:

A.J. Raebel is battling cancer. Here's more background and info on how you can help the fight.

Thoughts and prayers to A J Raebel and his family. That kid was a big, tough linebacker for UWW and gave the Raiders fits. Sad when a young kid has to face something like this.

seventiesraider

That's just rotten. Hopefully that toughness he showed on the field will help him in his fight

Small but Slow

Cancer is a terrible thing that will test his toughness.  God bless as he faces this battle. This disease shows no mercy or discretion on who it attacks.  A lady I have coached basketball with the past couple years has had large sections of a foot removed, gone through chemo several times, yet refuses to see herself as "sick" and allows no pity for her.  May AJ face this with the fierce courage he played football.

Small but Slow

Not a d3 issue, but any thoughts on Pete Carrol bailing at USC in the midst of a violations probe?  The timing of his leaving couldn't have been better for him.  Wonder how this will effect the punishment the remaining players and coaches will receive.

USC has been despite their success a losely run program for years and several issues will start coming to light since P. Carroll has decided to leave.

The whole attitude is at opposite ends of the spectrum compared to other programs. USC has had a good run, now the PAC-10 has other emerging programs to challenge them.
