Dear Pierre,

Thanks for saving me on that pick.

Sincerely,

Peyton

"THE PICK THAT PIERRE POKED!"

Single-minded, it was like they were the only two men on the field, the way Pierre went after him, forced the fumble AND took him down!

Later on that series (I think) Reed picked off another one (ended up nullified because of pass interference) and looked to have a free run deep into the Colts side of the field, and Pierre came back all the way accross the field and ran him down (out of bounds).

Peyton Manning pushed Reed out of bounds.  I can't say that Garcon wasn't near the action but it was Manning that knocked Reed out of bounds for sure.

Way to go PG85! All of us MUC fans are proud of you!

Just out of curiosity, I did not see post game interview with Manning.Did he give PG credit where credit was do? If PG doesnt strip the ball who knows what could have transpired in the game.

Anyone see the hit Warner took? WOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!

Reed was going to fly by Manning until #85 came into the picture and made Reed head towards the sidelines, where Manning chased him out.

I would be interested to know whether it was Garcon or Peyton who made the mistake on that interception.  Either Manning severely underthrew Garcon, or Pierre misread the play and didn't cut his route off.  Either way, it was a great play to get back down the field and knock that ball out...I kind of wonder whether he was saving Peyton's backside or his own.

I agree...GREAT play by PG. The pass he did drop i thought was a little tough, he looked a little off balance but other than that he made us proud.

Not that I know, but Manning said that there was supposed to be a seam route to hold the safety.

Small but Slow

Sportscenter recoginzed PG's hustle on its top plays with a comment of that's how we play in the O.A.C. on their top plays segment this afternoon.  PG's hustle and hunger have been what's got him his starting role on a championship caliber team.  His main job Saturday night was to clear out the CB and bring the S to him, clearing Clark or Collie from the slot underneath.  Dierdorf mentioned that and his blocking downfield several times.  Suprised Dierdorf didn't mention his Stark County ties, himself being a Canton native.

raiderguy

Peyton Manning was interviewed and he gave great props to Pierre on the play and for creating the fumble.
Pierre was also interviewed on ESPN radio this afternoon and told his version of the play. Mostly taking the attitude as all in a days work. Just glad he was able to make the play. Spoke highly of Peyton too.
Hope it come up Colts and Vikings.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

john buccigross, 'berg class of '88, perhaps?

i dont think anyone could have ever imagine the amount of press Pierre has gotten this year, not including the tragedy in haiti

Small but Slow

PG is definitely making his mark on the league as a player and as a quality man.  He represents his nation of Haiti and D3 football with class and heart.  At work today colleagues were commenting about his play and his philanthropic efforts.  A lot of folks down here became Colts fans because of Dungy.  Now they're taking notice of PG and the character he is displaying.

Didn't notice the anchor, I actually read it on closed caption while working out at the YMCA.  Buccigross does refer to his Ohio roots frequently on SC.  Recently mentioned his Steubenville background when the UC backup QB was having success.

Looks like the Jet's #24 will use a blanket on Reggie Wayne, so Pierre and
the other receivers will have to have their A game!. Got a feeling that PG will catch a key TD from Peyton. We will see on Sunday. Having lived in Indy for awhile, became a Colts fan and now even more. Just lost interest in the Browns. GO COLTS, GO PIERRE!
