From what i understand, PG is coming back to MUC to finish what he started...School!

Garcon mentioned that when he was interviewed on SportsCenter on Monday morning.

Did he not finish his last semester of his Senior year because he was getting ready for the combine and draft?

Oh, just think if PG has the same kind of game he did last week...Super Bowl MVP?

Lets just all pray that if there's a "Barrett Robbins/Stanley Wilson" moment in Miami this year that its not #85....  I'm serious.    OK, no I'm not.

Yes, combine and other pre-draft activities are pretty much a full-time job now.

I thought he had gone back last year, too, during the spring semester.  I started to wonder what was taking him so long to finish up, but then I remembered he transferred.  You can lose a number of credits that way when classes at one school don't match up with your new school, and when you only have one semester to work with, it can be even harder to take the last classes you need.

I'm pretty sure that Terry Pluto article or the comments below it said he needs to finish up his last 8 credits and he plans to come back this spring to do it.

Post must have been late last night/early this morning.

It was posted late last night.  Pat had it gone before 2:30am (not long after it was posted).  I was beyond impressed as I figured it would be up at least until this morning.  No such luck for CS.  Pat knows all, sees all...even at 2am!

Pat may have already spotted it on his own, but I did a 'report to moderator' as soon as I read it (forgot the time, but shortly after 2 I think).

It was off-the-wall outrageous.

2:00 a.m. + Alcohol = outrageous post

Glad it was caught and off the thread.....also glad that I was sleeping when it was posted--as opposed to some of you  :-\

Small but Slow

Wonder if LK or any of the MUC coaching staff is going to the big game next weekend in South Florida?

Wideout

I herd PG gave them all tickets

Small but Slow

Wonder if they can use the trip into the area as a recruiting opportunity?  OAC rules used to prohibit off campus recruiting, but a text to a recruit that they are in Miami watching a former player in the Super Bowl could be a valuable recruiting angle.

No doubt the Raiders hope to recruit additional players from Florida. Having the Superbowl there and PG in it will not hurt in terms of exposure! :)
