I didn't ask the question to get pity karma.  I wonder if Pat has the ability to check who is smiting and karmalizing.

You shouldn't think of it as pity karma ... it's well-deserved but overdue karma for your entire body of work.

Running an ESPN fantasy baseball league and trying to gauge interest.  I've invited some DIII guys through my Facebook account but thought there might be some interest from the guys on here so that we might get a DIII fantasy baseball league.

I've set up a live draft for Sat. Mar 6 (11 am ET).  It would be a keeper league so that it would go beyond this year but 2010 would be a clean slate for everyone.

If you're interested send me a PM with an email address and I'll send you the invite to join the league through ESPN.

A friend applied for and was offered a D3 assistant job last year.  He didn't need to make a lot of money but said the compensation wouldn't even cover his moving expenses.  He wasn't qualified to teach at the school, but was told he could augment his income working as a substitute teacher at area high schools.

S. B. Slow-- yup it is expensive to live in So.California and some  of the coaches on CLU Staff have second non teaching  jobs to make ends meet. Some came west for the great weather or to just try new lifestlye .Surprisingly the turnover has not been high-----this just the first opening in 4 years.

If SBS is talking about who I think he is talking about, this was a job in Ohio, where the living expenses are no where near what they are in So. Cal.
