Heidelberg Recruiting News from the Tampa Bay Area:

Land O' Lakes DB Chooses Heidelberg

Do you think the brass at Heidelberg are PO'd about being identified as a wimpy little college and not as a university?

I thought Heidelberg was changing to a University as well? :-\

(Heard any OAC/UMU recruiting news today?)

Shuttle, L-Drill and 40 times compiled as of yesterday.  I guess they will be posted in the fieldhouse soon.
Spring practice is only 9 days away.....

HURFMUC

68 Mount will have another 100 or so new freshmen football players next season. You can check with Lenny Reich at mount for list of names so you don't have to ask every day for new recruites

Small but Slow

The 'Berg is getting a solid player from one of our county's best programs.  Land O' Lakes has been a playoff caliber program the past 15 seasons.  Look for more OAC commitments from the bay area over the next few weeks.  Coach Hallet has a solid reputation in the county.  Several coaches know him from his days at Thomas More.  He is doing solid recruiting work here and could develop a pipeline from this area to Tiffin.

Not to be confused with the Foosball team for the University of Heidelberg

Based upon last year, Ric will have information on his site including the practices times with sessions open to the public.

Capital supposed to name the new coach today.  Not sure who it is going to be.  Keep an eye on the Capital website.

ELee,
I heard from a very reliable source that it is going to be Henry Standford who was Cap's OC last year.

That would be a good hire.  Keep continuity.

If it were confirmed you would know either by visiting Cap's website or by confirmation on here.  I'm starting to think you believe this board and Ric's site are the only two locations on the world wide web.   :D
