Hey, is Skunk still a walk-on this Fall at MUU? Not that he was walking very good the last time I saw him  ;)

Hey our school is in the running for "Cool School" of the week.  If we win the local Fox Affiliate will come to our school and broadcast during their Morning News next Tuesday Morning.

We need all the votes we can get.

Could you please go to the following link and vote for Crews Lake Middle School for "Cool School"?

It is in a gray box on the bottom right of the page.

You can vote multiple times until Thursday at 11:00pm.

My Fox Tampa Cool School of the Week

Thank You!!

Every year we hear about the great transfer who is going to come in and take over.  Haven't seen it happen with any junior to be in my 40 years affiliated with the Raiders.  Sure it could happen; frogs have rained from the sky, ball lightning has formed and rolled over the ground, and John Carroll once beat Mount Union in football.  The closest was Rob Adamson coming in as a freshman and nearly  unseating  incumbent Gary Smeck.

snoop dawg

purple....I know I did not make any statement that your comment could possibly be inferred from.    I was simply trying to obtain some information as to what the Qb situation was and what kind of competition there would be.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Several of the Mt. posters were  kind enough to provide some insight.  It is greatly appreciated.

But, the QB position is wide open for anyone to claim, transfers included! :)

And did he not transfer away his soph year and then come back

The competition would seem to be Neil Seaman who got a lot of varsity snaps last year. He will be Soph and really doesn't have true game experience in that I don't think he walked out last year with the knowledge that any game was his to win.

The other possibility Matt Pilito seems to have dropped off the squad if maybe not out of school. He was the whole reason I wanted to get down for spring practices just to count heads and see who is coming back. QB is a question mark. Seaman was very, very good and very very bad, not much in the middle

OK, strike anything I said about Piloto. As I said, I wanted to get on campus and conform rumors.  He appears to still be a full time student and working out with the squad

Hence, I would actually rate him number 1 in my book. Big, stands tall in the pocket. But I know that LK is very high on young mister Seaman.

Sorry to have spread a bad rumor, but when his picture was also missing from the roster it seems safe

"Seaman to Shorts" is still the top prospect for this year......and a really bad thing to happen on prom night  ;)

Piloto was never on the Varsity Roster.  He has always been listed on the Freshman Roster.  Also, the link they have for his name is wrong.  It is missing an 'Underscore' between his first and last names.

Here is the proper link:

As Miss Emily Latella used to say on Saturday Night Live, "Oh, that's quite different, Never mind." :D

I fell for the broken link on the Frosh roster

A broken link?  You'd think that with just 400 or so football players in the program they wouldn't make a mistake with a link like this.   ;)
