Ah, but I digress--as a faculty member I drink the purple Kool-Aid and, of course, support the institution in its efforts to "improve".

Life's too short to get my panties all in a wad over this.

what commercial is that??? FedEx... "Good morning, but I digress.... "

You referred to "MUC".  What's this "MUC" you mentioned?

It's either my lame, quiet protest.  Or my fingers being faster than my brain.

I'm going with the former.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

It is my understanding that the Alma Mater will not be changed and will still contain the phrase "...dear old MUC."  Based on this I would say that "MUC" remains acceptable.

Does anyone know why B-W's opener (against Wooster) is on a Thursday night?  Is ESPN8 coming to town?

Maybe BW is thinking that starting the season on a Thursday gives them a head start towards more mediocrity.

(Alternate comment: Thursday nights?  That's when the JV plays so yeah, it makes sense.)

I might be driving over to LA for a couple days next week.  The wife is at a conference that will keep her busy til 4 each day and wants some company to check stuff out in the evenings.  I'm kicking around hitting a couple of the SCIAC schools while I'm out there during the days.  We will see.
