Not a lot of experience returning, but the WR corps could be among the best ever.  All we need to find is a capable QB to get them the ball and find a couple D-linemen.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

The last DB on your list, Cam West, is an absolute stud and ballhawk. I see alot of Kostelnik in him... Hopefully he shows up this year.

Made sure LK couldn't say how nice it was to have someone older when he saw me today. I stood next to Rudy Sharkey

HScoach,

You just stated the key for the Raiders this fall:

"Not a lot of experience returning, but the WR corps could be among the best ever.  All we need to find is a capable QB to get them the ball and find a couple D-linemen".

If that can happen, the Raiders can a have a very good year! :)

everything that I have seen indicates that Julius Moore committed to the University of the Cumberlands (NAIA) for the 2009 season.  I can not seem to find out if he would have full eligibility or already used one year.  If its the same kid, he plays in ten games for that University last season.

Pat- The Heidelberg schedule is posted on their website and the official home of the Student Princes is now Mayer Field but you'll have to get the seating capacity from their SID, because as it stands the capacity is between 250 and infinity.

Just stumbled on this from the Dayton Daily News

Fairfield product Scott transfers to Mount Union

By Steven Matthews | Monday, June 14, 2010, 11:21 AM

Former Fairfield High football player Isaiah Scott has transferred to Mount Union College, the school announced over the weekend.

Scott, a 5-9, 155-pound defensive back, played last year at Division II Lane College. As a starter, he was second on the team in tackles with 45, had three interceptions, forced a fumble and blocked a kick. He was a two-year letterwinner for the Indians.

Scott plans to study physical education at Mount Union.

Thanks, PurpleSuit.
Jack Nicholls highlight tape is great.  The kid looks like a smart athlete who reads whole field very well.  I'll be interested to see how he does with the Raiders.

Like 99% of high school QB's, he needs to strengthen that arm to play at the next level.
